As a 310T Mechanic or Apprentice with us, the minimum responsibilities are:
Perform repairs and inspections, safety checks, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on diesel vehicles.
Utilize vehicle computer electrical systems to interpret failure modes to identify and adjust Engine and Vehicle Control modules
Respond to road calls for emergency repairs
Reviewing, completing or assigning repairs identified on driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Completing required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software programs.
Test-driving trucks after services and repairs
Helping other team members with repairs as needed
Having professional and courteous interactions with our drivers when needed.
Adhere to all SAFETY standards laid out by the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Environment, and Waste Connections of Canada.
Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
What We Need From You:
Registered 310T Mechanic or Registered Apprentice
Proficiency in a variety of diesel vehicle diagnostic tools, preventative maintenance and repair.
Basic tool set
Valid Class DZ or AZ / Class 3F or Class 3A or ability to obtain within 90 days of start of position (Asset)
Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements

Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements

General Description:The Territory Manager will prospect new business while providing excellent customer service and sales skills to maintain an existing book of business. In this role, you will be reaching out to potential customers by cold calling… a lot! We have a great sales tool to help you manage your robust sales pipeline. That’s right - you can throw away the pad and papers stacking up in the trunk of your car and manage your customers through our in-house sales tool. You’ll gain a deep understanding of our service offerings. You’ll bring out the benefits of our products and be comfortable presenting them to anyone. Utilizing a consultative selling approach, the Territory Manager will match new and existing prospects’ needs to Waste Connections services and aims to secure long-term partnerships.
As a Territory Manager with us, the minimum responsibilities are:
Sourcing new business opportunities within Bracebridge, ON and surrounding area
Enter intelligence gathered into our ARES system for future follow up
Working with operations and administrative staff in a team environment but must be capable of working independently
Identify and reach out to potential customers through cold calling, networking, and other means to generate sales leads
Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly, providing solutions and ensuring a positive customer experience
Travel to client locations, industry conferences, and other events as necessary to meet with clients and prospects
3-4 years of solid business-to-business (B2B) sales experience
Experience with contract selling will be an asset
Excellent communication and time management skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, etc.)
Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM platforms
Must have own vehicle for existing customers and new prospects
Annual wage starting at $50,000
