About:


Our client, a global leading engineering firm, is seeking a highly skilled Administrator in Implementation/Project Manager, who is bilingual in both French and English to assist on an ongoing multi-year large-scale complex transit project.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and oversee site progress and monitoring, tracking schedules, and addressing issues related to RQT (Requests for Quotation), registers, and site concerns.
  • Collaborate with the Contract Administrator to issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), notices, letters, directives,etc.
  • Manage construction site monitoring, including supervision of dedicated site supervisors and other specialized roles as needed.
  • Plan related services such as laboratory and surveying for the site.Monitor site reports and oversee works carried out under direct management.
  • Note that the actual contract management will be handled by an Appro Contract Administrator, ensuring shared management responsibility.


Skill set:


  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction and site monitoring.
  • Ability to maintain a full-time on-site presence.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with various construction methods.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 7 years of combined experience in procurement, administration, and construction project management. In-depth knowledge and experience in applying commercial and contractual formats and specific conditions.
  • Good knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to subcontracting and procurement in Quebec and Ontario, in major engineering projects.Ability to establish effective working relationships in a team environment with colleagues, associates, contractors, and clients.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (from home, in office, and on site).
  • Proficiency in both French and English, both orally and in writing.
