Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Guide and direct contracted maintenance organizations and flight crews to ensure compliance with maintenance requirements, maximize aircraft serviceability, and ensure on-time performance and aircraft utilization as per Control Manual guidelines.
- Manage the technical dispatch of cargo in accordance with applicable airworthiness standards.
- Coordinate day-of-flight maintenance activities at all stations or airports and provide technical support for out-of-service aircraft.
- Act as the main point of contact for all Line Maintenance activities.
- Provide control for the management of Minimum Equipment List (MEL) items on the fleet.
- Continuously update the shift manager and senior management on the operational status of the fleet.
- Stay up to date with all technical and regulatory training required for the assigned role.
- Utilize real-time aircraft monitoring applications to anticipate aircraft defects and proactively resolve them.
- Attend aircraft endorsement training courses as necessary.
Requirements:
- Possess an A.M.E. M2 or E License.
- Proven knowledge of regulatory programs and agencies such as the Maintenance Control Manual, Transport Canada, and FAA.
- Willingness to work shifts and extended hours as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Sound judgment and a proactive approach to taking appropriate actions.
- Ability to provide clear instructions and guidance on technical matters.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Completion of external or internal management development programs.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Word, E-Mail, Excel, and Windows.

Salary: $100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

- AME license (required)
- E License (preferred)

Work Location: In person
