Key Responsibilities:


  • Claims Management Excellence: Review and examine files, respond to inquiries, and track various claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Project Participation: Collaborate on special projects, providing research, analysis, and support to senior team members.
  • Committee Leadership: Lead the way in Claims Committee meetings, presenting analytical reports, recommendations, and briefing notes to drive informed decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Strategic Insight: Leverage your expertise to prepare reports for senior management and regulators, providing valuable insights into industry trends and risk exposures.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree, with relevant industry certifications such as Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
  • Experience: 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in automobile insurance, with a focus on Bodily Injury and/or Accident Benefits.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and Access, with experience in creating pivot tables and forms.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.

Disclaimer: This role is a contract that will last for 2 years and attendance to the office is required twice per month.
