WHAT ON EARTH IS DECIEM?

Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Photographer & Content Creator to join our team; this is a flexible position that offers the opportunity to work on a project-by-project basis.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • for the development and production of visual content assets across the company
  • and execute photography and content creation projects
  • the creative leaders with new and ongoing projects as assigned and required
  • with Graphic designers of all levels and other departments and contribute to ongoing alignment for project objectives and requirements
  • source materials, content and props required for photoshoots
  • with production projects and provide support for day to day tasks, and ongoing projects
  • and communicate new concepts, ideas, technical and creative visions to creative leaders
  • all creative work is of highest quality and reflects brand standards
  • with graphic designers of all levels and other departments and contribute to ongoing alignment with other departments on project objectives and requirements
  • learn and grow by improve working knowledge and other related production activities
  • a supportive member to the creative team and contribute to ongoing team support


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • in using professional photography equipment and proficient in Photo Editing, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • understanding of photo composition and lighting
  • for creativity & visual design and ability to conceptualize out-of-the box ideas
  • organization and time management skills, detail oriented and ability to focus and work efficiently in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • interpersonal, communication skills both written and oral and ability to work with all levels of staff and management
  • education OR equivalent work experience in creative photography is essential
