Paid Media Strategist, Meta Ads Focus


Job Description


OpenMoves is a growing performance marketing agency offering paid media, SEO, email, and creative services to clients across multiple verticals. We are a mid-market agency focused on driving performance for our clients. OpenMoves is owned by Ionik Group, an integrator of marketing and adtech firms.


OpenMoves seeks a Paid Media Strategist with a strong background in Meta Ads. The Paid Media Strategist should have at least 5 years working in a performance media buying capacity managing accounts on Meta Ads. This is a client facing role, requiring strong communication skills with clients both on video calls and over email.


Technical expertise in Meta Ads is a must, including experience building and testing audiences, testing creatives and analyzing and making creative decisions, working with the Meta Pixel, and all aspects of Meta Ads buying and optimization.


Skills in other paid media platforms such as LinkedIn Ads, TikTok, SnapChat, Google Ads is a strong asset. Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, HubSpot (and other CRM’s), SEMRush, Zapier etc is also highly desirable.

Experience with multi location advertisers is a strong asset.


Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • End-to end management of Meta Ads accounts for OpenMoves clients.
  • Manage accounts across verticals and industries including B2B, ECommerce, etc.
  • Develop weekly and monthly performance reports, strategy documents, workback schedules, presentations etc for clients
  • Own in platform evaluation of KPI’s and proactively identify action items including; creative testing, offers, landing page changes, targeting adjustments, purchase funnels etc.
  • Communicate with clients directly on regular calls/Zoom meetings and other platforms as needed (Slack, Teams, Asana etc).
  • Assist in management of other marketing platforms including CRMs, in a paid media capacity (audience creation, tracking and conversion setup etc).
  • Develop media budget recommendations and allocate media spend for optimal ROI and scale.
  • Produce high quality text copy for ads and collaborate with the creative team on development of creative, analysis of in market creative and creation of testing strategies (could be our internal creative team OR the clients in-house creative team).
  • Stay up to date with the latest in paid social platforms, trends, tools and best practice.
  • Depending on the candidate, there is the potential to work on other ads platforms like Google Ads, Linkedin, TikTok & Snapchat.


Requirements

  • 5 years minimum experience with Meta Ads
  • 3 years of experience in a digital agency
  • Strong with data and reporting tools
  • Strong in creative analysis, strategy and A/B Testing (design skills not required)
  • Strong analytical skills and proven experience in troubleshooting, analysis and proactive in platform optimizations.
  • Experience managing monthly budgets $50K and above.
  • Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects and tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple projects while integrating with cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Skills in Google Ads, other platforms, nice to have
  • Skills with CRO, landing page analysis, nice to have
