What you will do:

  • as a Captain on the Challenger 605 aircraft in Ottawa
  • flights are conducted in a safe manner
  • daily operation activities on available reserve days
  • with Chartright’s Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to ensure all operational and service requirements are delivered
  • an environment of collaboration and encourage an atmosphere where co-workers can share ideas, improvements and solutions
  • direct customer service to clients contributing to their exceptional client experience
  • monthly training courses and other duties as required

What you bring:

  • Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Valid IATRA
  • 1 Multi-Engine IFR
  • Transport Canada Medical
  • Radio Telephone License
  • of 3000 hours total flight time
  • 1000 multi-engine PIC hours, jet or turbine time is preferred
  • University degree or College diploma in Aviation is preferred
  • to lift up to 60 Ibs
  • experience with flight management systems and glass cockpits
  • understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, weight and balance
  • knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices
  • positive mindset with the strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively build relationships across the organization
  • written and verbal communication skills
  • client service, organization and prioritization skills
  • to work a flexible schedule to support clients’ needs
  • International flying experience (Europe & South America) is required
  • time on type is preferred
