POSITION SUMMARY

The Technical Lead - Engineering Lead Bus Specialist will oversee the team that provides direct support on the production lines to resolve electrical engineering and programming issues discovered during the electrical checkout of online buses, especially lead buses.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • a team that addresses electrical engineering issues across five production facilities.
  • the team complies with the Engineering Lead Bus Specialist process, including properly tracking issues.
  • technical guidance to team members to help resolve technical issues.
  • with production facilities’ management and production personnel to ensure priorities are aligned each day, including participating in running daily meetings.
  • the group’s performance metrics to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
  • and delegate issues among the team to ensure workloads are balanced and timelines are met.
  • engineering work, especially PLC programs.
  • with suppliers to guide the resolution of technical issues related to vendor components.
  • with customers to clarify customer requirements and communicate issues and timelines for resolution.
  • new employees on their duties and the vehicle's electrical system.



WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent, preferably in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Electrical/Engineering Technology

A minimum of 5 years of experience related to industry/technology experience is preferred.

Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems.

Previous experience managing a team is preferred.

Strong communication and time management skills required.

This role may include 15% travel.
