Territory Sales Representative


Are you a passionate salesperson who is ready to take the next step in their career? We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual for a Territory Sales Representative role with an exciting client of ours in the construction equipment industry. This position is replacing a tenured and soon to be retiring Account Representative, and holds a ton of potential!


The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for researching and generating leads, establishing new accounts though cold calling and personal visits, and building long lasting relationships with clients. They will work to develop sales strategies and models, and to meet personal and team sales targets. The Territory Sales Representative will attend meetings and sales events, as well as training to stay up to date on current industry trends and developments. They have strong interpersonal and communication skills, are highly organized, and have a track record of exceeding quotas. They are proficient with computers, are strong negotiators, and are highly driven. They are keen on creating and maintaining relationships with clients and are able to evaluate and fulfill client needs.


The successful candidate has a proven sales track record and 3 to 5 years of experience with outside sales in the construction or equipment industry. They also possess a University Degree, preferably concentrating in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration. Some travel will be required, and as such, a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract is required. You will be provided with a competitive base salary plus commissions, company vehicle, and other benefits.
