The Role: Vendor Relations Analyst

What you will be doing:

  • First line of contact for front store Merchandise Vendors and Category teams for the reporting system Launchpad
  • Ensure the reporting tools needed are in place to maximize efficiency and data insights when looking at profitable sales and program effectiveness
  • Serve as a liaison between internal technical teams and external vendors, ensuring clear communication, resolving issues, and setting priorities
  • Maintain and update all Launchpad related user documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business units to elicit and document business requirements for data-related insights and projects
  • Lead the development and enhancement of operational reporting and dashboards. Providing analysis, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Provide user acceptance testing on all new Launchpad enhancements and reporting roll-outs
  • Provide ad-hoc data analysis when required communicating reports, findings and insights
  • Take an active role in understanding the operational role of our teams/departments for new initiatives and day-to-day business problem solving
  • Present findings to all levels of the organization in an understandable and compelling manner


How you will succeed:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in working with Blue Yonder, Open Access, and CKB Data Systems
  • Proven experience in writing SQL statements and working with databases
  • Experience in retail industry is required, OTC, HABA, Beauty, Daily living category experience is preferred.
  • Advanced written/Verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced analytical skills and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to produce work products that make an impact on management decisions and business results
  • Well organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work both collaboratively as well as self-directed/ independently motivated to accomplish results
  • Viewed by clients/stakeholders as an emerging subject matter expert
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills, data warehouse, SQL, and advanced data mining capabilities
