What We Manufacture and Sell

Axiota’s non-antibiotic solutions prepare cattle to thrive during transition and stress and support producers’ goals of optimal health, performance, and animal well-being.

Axiota’s field-based sales and technical teams support beef and dairy producers and their technical advisors. Our current cattle product platform includes Multimin® 90, an injectable trace mineral used for strategic supplementation of cattle, and Lactipro®, a rumen native probiotic that promotes healthy rumen function and stabilizes pH.


Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a Veterinarian for eastern Canada to join our team. This position will report to the International Technical Manager with a dotted line to the International Chief Commercial Officer and will technically support the existing Axiota portfolio in Canada by working with distributors in promoting Axiota brands with technical activities such as field visits to veterinarians, farmers, and other stakeholders.


Some of the responsibilities include:

Preparing and delivering oral presentations on products’ features and illustrating the technical information that supports them. Part of these tasks will be organized and accomplished autonomously.

Supporting field data collection and presenting technical contributions to local congresses. Responsible for the distributor’s sales force continuous product training.

Maintaining close contact with the international structure aiming to align technical activities with company standards and needs.

Spending 70-80% on the field and 20-30% home-based.

Technically training the sales force and supporting the sales force in field activities with customers

Qualifications and skills requirements:

Based in Canada

Veterinary Medicine degree

At least 2 years of field experience in veterinary private practice or with an animal health, feed, or genetic company working with cattle.

Advanced knowledge of oral and written English

Proficiency in English and French is preferred.
