Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, service agreements, licensing agreements, and partnership agreements.

- Manage and resolve contractual disputes and claims effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex legal issues.
- Develop and refine standard contract templates and legal processes.

- Manage outside counsel as needed.

- Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in good standing in Ontario or another Canadian jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 7 years of post-call experience in corporate law, with a significant focus on commercial transactions, preferably within a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
- Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
