**A Day in the Life**
The Clinical Specialist for the ENT and Endoscopy businesses in Ontario plays a critical customer-facing role focused on supporting healthcare professionals in the hospital environment. This role is centered on being in the field, working side by side with physicians, clinicians, and hospital staff to provide procedural support, product expertise, clinical education, and in-the-moment problem solving that helps enable excellent patient care.
Success in this position requires a strong in-hospital presence and a genuine commitment to being with customers where care happens. You work closely with neurosurgeons, neurologists, intensivists, general surgeons (especially in HPB and Gyneco-Oncology), as well as with other healthcare professionals. This position is field-based and combines case coverage and training. Performance will be evaluated against quarterly objectives (quotas) and management objectives (MBOs) as part of our variable compensation plan. You will primarily focus on the Codman portfolio of surgical and intensive care products, supporting procedures performed in the operating room (OR) and in the intensive care unit (ICU). **"Must Reside in Montreal Area"**
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and enhance clients' technical understanding of Integra's SS products in surgery and critical care, with a particular focus on the ranges in neurocritical care.
+ Provide thorough and regular hands-on training to clients.
+ Collaborate with area managers to execute account strategies and promote the use of the products.
+ Design and manage clinical training programs for priority accounts, enhancing knowledge and achieving growth objectives.

**CUSTOMER SERVICE:**
+ Responsible for driving the FME Canada culture through values and customer service standards.
+ Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.

**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
Dialysis Delivery System Evaluation and ongoing clinical customer support:
+ Support the setup of FME Canada hemodialysis delivery system clinical evaluations.
+ Provide on-site clinical support to staff evaluating the FME Canada dialysis delivery system by demonstrating how they are used to provide safe and effective patient care.
+ Assist in the training and orientation of new Fresenius employees.
Clinical Consultant Support
+ Assist in the creation of new training tools for FME Canada customers and staff.
+ Provide staff education/orientation to new Territory Managers, Technologists and Customer Service Representatives as required.
+ Attend local, regional, national, and international conferences and seminars to remain up to date with latest products, services, and research.
Education
+ Provide support to our customers regarding home and in-centre hemodialysis best practices.
+ Provide clinical expertise to assist unit staff to measure specific patient outcomes, utilizing the FME Canada CQI process.
+ Other duties as assigned.

Must be able to physically cover and maintain regular face-to-face contact with customers over a large geographic area. Extensive travel by automobile, train or airplane is often necessary to cover the assigned territory and includes overnight stays. Contact with customers by phone alone is not adequate. On some occasions, consecutive weeks of training might prevent travel home over the weekend in between weeks in consideration of the local travel restrictions and/or availability. Occasional weekend work would be necessary to support trade show events, customer training and support, and equipment evaluations. Lifting requirements include setting up portable booths, occasional lifting and transporting medical equipment and supplies for purposes of in servicing customers.
This position will be a part-time, casual, time type. FME Canada and the employee will agree on mutual hours of work as required, with no minimum number of hours committed by FME Canada.
**EDUCATION**
+ Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BScN)
**EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS**
+ Current Provincial Registered Nurse Certification of Competence
+ Current hemodialysis experience is mandatory.
+ Current experience in patient and/or staff teaching.
+ Demonstrated ability to interact with all members of the renal team.
+ Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and applications

**About the Role**
MiniMed is looking for a Diabetes Clinical Specialist (aka Clinical Diabetes Manager/CTM) to educate and train Health Care Professionals and patients on diabetes products. As field clinical experts and company representatives, CTMs report to the Clinical District Manager for their district.
This is a field-based position that will support our Southern Alberta and Southern Saskatchewan territories. This will primarily include Calgary and southern Saskatchewan, stretching into Airdrie, Diamond Valley, and Regina. The expectation is to be in the field 5 days/week.
