Essential Duties

  • Handle inbound and outbound contacts in a courteous, timely, and professional manner
  • Ensure first call resolution through problems solving and effective call handling

  • Accurately document and process customer claims in appropriate systems
  • Lead fact-finding discussions to determine the best options for the customer
  • Utilize knowledge base and training to accurately answer customer questions while following all required scripts, policies, and procedures

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Responsibilities
+ Deliver exceptional in-store customer experiences through selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and product knowledge.
+ Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.
+ Provide a friendly and efficient cash wrap experience, including ringing customer purchases at the cash register and keeping the cash wrap neat, clean, and stocked.
+ Support product replenishment activities and maintain brand standards to keep the store full and abundant.
+ Assist with floorset execution, window changes, visual presentation, and marketing placement as needed.
+ All store positions require constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting. Associates are expected to climb ladders, lift, reach, bend, and kneel to obtain products for customers and to maintain the visual appearance of the store. Associates should be able to lift 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds.
+ Consistently provide the most safe, clean, and engaging experience by adhering to all safety standards and expectations.

Our client, Purolator, is seeking a Licensed Red Seal Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Dartmouth, NS. The ideal candidate will have a Heavy Duty Mechanics License and Class 1 Driver's License with a clean driving history.

Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Location: Dartmouth North, NS

Pay Range: $40.19/hour

Job Description

  • Diagnose and repair on- / off-road and heavy duty vehicles and equipment to meet preventative maintenance schedules, ensure proper function, and meet vehicle safety and quality goals
  • Assist with entering data in the mechanic’s maintenance and repair database (e.g., Web Fleet Assistant (WFA))
  • Communicates concerns or escalates unusually complex or persistent problems to the Foreman or other manager
  • Responds to service calls for equipment breakdowns when no supervisor is available to assist in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues arising from the Control Room, Dispatch, or Drivers
Qualifications
  • Certified Red Seal Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics license
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License (Class 1 preferred)
  • 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic is required 
  • Prior experience with computerized maintenance systems & procedures
  • The ability to diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical problems with minimum vehicle downtime
  • Demonstrated ability to work alone in fast paced environment
  • A clear driving history and criminal history
