As a Senior Statistical Methodology Data Scientist, you will play a strategic role in advancing the adoption of fit-for-purpose statistical methodologies that strengthen scientific rigor, evidence generation and decision-making across clinical development programs and portfolios. Acting as a methodological thought partner, you will collaborate with study teams, biostatisticians and cross-functional stakeholders to identify needs, prototype solutions and support scalable adoption through training, templates, frameworks and tools.
In this role, you will:
+ Provide expert methodological guidance to study teams on complex study design, analysis strategies and quantitative decision-making across programs.
+ Lead the development and implementation of innovative statistical approaches, such as estimand frameworks, trial simulations, covariate adjustment strategies, model-based projections and quantitative go/no-go frameworks.
+ Translate methodological insights into scalable solutions, including templates, training, open-source tools and best practices that strengthen analytical excellence across the organization.
+ Support portfolio-level analyses, scenario modeling and quantitative frameworks that inform clinical strategy, optimize development decisions and enable evidence-based prioritization.
+ Represent Roche externally through scientific collaborations, consortia, working groups, publications or regulatory-facing initiatives, helping the organization stay at the forefront of methodological advances.
**Who You Are**
+ You hold a PhD, in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or another related quantitative discipline.
+ You have 2+ years of experience designing and applying advanced statistical or data science methods to complex biomedical data, ideally in clinical trial research or pharmaceutical development.
+ You bring strong expertise in statistical computing, advanced modeling and the development of novel or fit-for-purpose analytical solutions for complex datasets.
+ You are recognized as a technical expert and trusted thought partner, with the ability to translate complex methodology into clear recommendations for scientific, clinical and cross-functional stakeholders.
+ You have experience contributing to internal standards, capability building, training or strategic initiatives, and you enjoy mentoring others to strengthen methodological understanding and adoption.

Here's how a Design Manager contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the development of design proposals for Design Build and other types of project pursuits, from early concept through submission and execution.
- Manage multidisciplinary design teams ensuring coordination, compliance, and constructability.

**What are your contributions to the team?**
+ Lead a team of Integration specialists who are responsible for the design of the Bombardier product portfolio.
+ Work collaboratively with platforms internal and external suppliers and with each platform leader, to align on priorities and decisions
+ Manage the Engineering Statement of Work
+ Manage the engineering budget and spend for the department
+ Participate in management meetings and organize departmental governance.
+ Communicate effectively and support decisions and messages to and from management
+ Ensure that the management system is in place to organize and control the tasks and the priorities, with appropriate levels of visibility to issues and risks and associated mitigation plan.
+ Support employees to enable them to reach their goals and deliverables by providing coaching, mentoring and training both for technical and soft skills.
+ Responsible for deployment of Lessons Learned and Best Project Practices
+ Some level of support/coordination for Production and In-Service resolution of issues
**How to thrive in this role?**
+ You hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline. Aerospace specialty is an asset.
+ You have a minimum of 20 years of experience working with multidisciplinary and technically complex projects in the Aerospace industry with at least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
+ You have knowledge of design tools
+ You have knowledge of MRB
+ You have experience in multi-disciplinary designs
+ You have knowledge of manufacturing methods
+ You have strong people management and leadership qualities with an ability to mobilize and foster an environment of teamwork within cross-functional teams facilitating discussions and resolving issues to meet the business objectives.
+ You have demonstrated leadership behaviors that support putting people first, work in teams, value teamwork, and drive for performance excellence while exhibiting a winning attitude.
+ You are pro-active, results orientated and innovative with a view for business improvement.
+ You have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build consensu without formal authority.
+ You must be fluent in English and French.
