Requirements and skills
+ 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator supporting enterprise-scale production environments.
+ Strong hands-on experience administrating Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server environments, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup/recovery, patching and upgrades.
+ 10+ years of experience with database backup/recovery, replication, clustering, and high-availability solutions.
+ Proven expertise in SQL query tuning, performance troubleshooting, and database optimization.
+ 10+ years of experience supporting mission-critical applications in 24x7 production environments.
+ Knowledge of cloud database technologies (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Oracle Cloud, etc.) is an asset.
+ 10+ years of experience with database monitoring and administration tools.
+ Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, change management, and release management.
+ Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
+ Preferred to have Level1 Security Clearance

Un administrateur de bases de donnees (DBA) professionnel assurera le bon fonctionnement continu de la base de donnees 24h/24 et 7j/7. Minimum de 10 ans d'experience progressive en administration de bases de donnees, incluant le support de production, l'optimisation des performances, la sauvegarde et la restauration, la planification de la reprise apres sinistre et les activites de maintenance des bases de donnees.
Responsabilites
+ Gerer et administrer les environnements de bases de donnees de production, d'assurance qualite (QA) et de developpement en garantissant une haute disponibilite et des performances optimales.
+ Optimiser les performances des bases de donnees, des requetes, de l'indexation et planifier la capacite pour ameliorer l'efficacite du systeme.
+ Executer les operations de sauvegarde/restauration Oracle RMAN et SQL Server, et valider regulierement les procedures de restauration.
+ Gerer la securite, les Clientes utilisateurs, les roles et les permissions des bases de donnees Oracle et SQL Server.
+ Mettre en œuvre et maintenir les strategies de sauvegarde, de restauration et de reprise apres sinistre (DR) pour assurer la continuite des activites.
+ Surveiller la sante des bases de donnees, l'utilisation du stockage, la replication et les performances du systeme a l'aide d'outils de surveillance d'entreprise.
+ Planifier et executer les mises a niveau, les migrations, l'application de correctifs (patching) et les activites de maintenance avec un temps d'arret minimal.
+ Depanner et resoudre les incidents de base de donnees, les goulots d'etranglement de performance et les problemes d'integrite des donnees dans le respect des accords de niveau de service (SLA).
+ Collaborer avec les equipes applicatives, d'infrastructure et de securite pour soutenir les deploiements et les ameliorations du systeme.
+ Developper et maintenir les normes de base de donnees, la documentation, les procedures operationnelles standard (SOP) et les manuels d'exploitation (runbooks).
+ Soutenir les exigences de conformite, d'audit, de securite et de gestion des Clientes sur l'ensemble des plateformes de bases de donnees.
+ Participer au support d'astreinte et fournir des recommandations proactives pour l'amelioration continue du service.
Profil et competences requis
+ Plus de 10 ans d'experience pratique en tant qu'administrateur de bases de donnees dans des environnements de production a l'echelle de l'entreprise.
+ Solide experience pratique dans l'administration d'environnements Oracle Database et Microsoft SQL Server (installation, configuration, optimisation, sauvegarde/restauration, correctifs et mises a niveau).
+ Plus de 10 ans d'experience avec les solutions de sauvegarde/restauration, de replication, de clustering et de haute disponibilite de bases de donnees.
+ Expertise averee dans l'optimisation des requetes SQL, le depannage des performances et l'optimisation des bases de donnees.
+ Plus de 10 ans d'experience dans le support d'applications critiques au sein d'environnements de production 24h/24 et 7j/7.
+ Connaissance des technologies de bases de donnees cloud (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Oracle Cloud, etc.) est un atout.
+ Plus de 10 ans d'experience avec les outils de surveillance et d'administration de bases de donnees.
