Requirements 

Education & Certification 

• Registered Nurse (BCCNM) or degree in a recognized health science/professional program. 
• Certified in gerontology (preferred). 
• Formal training or experience in adult education or clinical instruction. 

Experience 

• Minimum 5 years in healthcare with at least 2 years in a clinical role (long-term care preferred). 
• 5+ years in education or training roles with experience in quality improvement.

Overview:
This member of the Canadian Mental Health Association works alongside a team of professionals whose focus is safety, stability and support for individuals in a mental health crisis who are in immediate contact with police but not suitable for incarcerations or admission to the hospital.
