**What You'll Be Doing**
We are looking for a seasoned Regional Highway Lead to grow our business in the GTA. A candidate with hands-on project management experience for at least three to five large Ministry of Transportation (MTO) detailed design highway widening and/or interchange modification projects can shape this position and the group to a model they know is successful. In this role, you will oversee and manage the overall civil design team on both conventional and design/build projects for MTO highway programs. And play a key role in growing our business with the MTO. We are currently working for the MTO on highway improvement projects and want to take advantage of the relationship to move into more highway design projects with the agency. Supported by a strong design team, the Regional Highway Lead will be managing design projects upon award.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ University degree in Engineering (or related field)
+ P.Eng. (Professional Engineer) designation required
+ 15 + years of experience delivering major/significant MTO projects
+ Hands-on project management experience for 3 to 5 large MTO detailed design highway widening and/or interchange modification projects

+ Project management experience for MTO Environmental Assessment and preliminary design projects preferred

· Drives Managed Services transition and transformation, including service catalog definition, operating model design, and knowledge transfer for new and existing engagements
· Establishes and oversees ITIL-aligned service management processes (incident, problem, change, and service request management) in partnership with delivery and operations teams
· Leads service delivery governance cadences (QBRs, service review boards, executive steering committees) with client stakeholders to drive service excellence and account health
· Owns Managed Services financial performance, including cost-to-serve optimization, resource/capacity utilization, and P&L management across service delivery engagements
**Required Education:** MBA or Masters degree strongly preferred; Bachelor's degree required

**Salary and Other Compensation:** The annual salary for this position is between **$126,900.00 - $201,000.00 CAD** depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

AECOM is seeking a **Program Director, Airport Baggage Handling Systems (BHS)** to join our team.
This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga. We are seeking a senior, client‑focused leader to serve as a trusted advisor and single point of accountability for the delivery of complex, airport‑wide Baggage Handling Systems programs supporting one of the most advanced, sustainable, and passenger‑friendly airport developments in the world.
**Major Responsibilities:**
+ Serves as the **primary client-facing executive** for the Airport Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) Program, responsible for building and maintaining strong, trust‑based relationships with senior client leadership.
+ Accountable for overall BHS program delivery in alignment with client objectives related to scope, budget, schedule, quality, safety, operational performance, and risk.
+ Acts as a **strategic advisor to the client** , providing informed recommendations on BHS system architecture, delivery strategy, procurement approach, risk mitigation, and operational readiness.
+ Leads and represents the BHS program in executive steering committees, governance forums, and senior stakeholder meetings.
+ Develops and implements the program governance framework, execution strategy, and performance reporting structure in alignment with the broader airport capital program.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess no less than:
+ University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, plus demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
+ Minimum of **10 years of experience** delivering airport Baggage Handling Systems, including senior leadership roles on complex, multi‑phase aviation programs.

+ Strong background in collaborative and alternative delivery models, including Progressive Design‑Build, Target Price, or similar frameworks.

+ Exercise authority for workforce planning, talent development, performance management, corrective action, and staffing decisions in line with Serco's HR governance model.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
+ Act as Serco's senior executive representative to the customer, maintaining a trusted, professional, and collaborative relationship with senior leadership at 5 Wing Goose Bay.
+ Proactively anticipate customer needs, manage issues before they escalate, and ensure operational delivery remains fully aligned with evolving mission requirements and strategic objectives.

**EDUCATION /CERTIFICATIONS:**

+ Demonstrated experience delivering software products across mobile (iOS/Android), and cloud/backend services
+ Hands-on, practitioner-level experience building or deploying AI/LLM-powered applications using Claude Code or equivalent LLM
+ Proven experience leading or actively participating in an AI-driven engineering transformation, including adopting AI-assisted development tooling, restructuring team workflows, and evolving engineering culture
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
+ Experience scaling software engineering organizations in the 25-50+ engineer range, including organizational design, hiring strategy, and talent development
+ Deep familiarity with AI/ML product development, including cloud-based ML pipelines, predictive energy algorithms, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and LLM-powered user experiences
+ Experience deploying AI-native developer tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, internal LLM toolchains) at scale to measurably accelerate engineering velocity
+ Background in IoT or connected home energy products; strong understanding of device-to-cloud architecture, embedded gateway firmware, OTA update strategies, and edge/cloud data flows
+ Experience with Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS), demand response, grid services, or utility API integrations
+ Experience leading full-stack development of dealer or field-technician-facing software platforms, including web portals, commissioning tools, and remote diagnostics
+ Strong product strategy instincts, ability to synthesize market trends, customer insights, and technical feasibility into a compelling, prioritized platform roadmap
+ Demonstrated experience collaborating deeply with UI/UX Design and User Research teams to translate user insights into high-quality software experiences
+ Track record of successfully shipping high-quality consumer-facing and dealer-facing software products with measurable business impact
+ Exceptional communication skills, able to translate complex technical strategy into clear narratives for executive audiences, business unit leaders, and external partners
Generac is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role based in (California) is $239,000 - $323,000. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.
