**Veterinary Technician, RVT**
**Location: London, ON**
**Employment Type: Casual Part-time**
**Job Status: Existing**
**Compensation: $19.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills**
**London Regional Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital** is welcoming a **casual part-time** dedicated R **egistered Veterinary Technician (RVT)** to join our amazing network of skilled veterinary professionals. While our network is large, we still offer that local community feeling, mentorship, and additional training!
+ Have completed a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician program.
+ Technical skills or knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.
+ Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery
+ Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records
+ Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
+ The ability to problem-solve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions
+ Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents
+ Passion to learn more within the role

**Department: ER/ICU**
**Location: Scarborough, ON**
**Employment Type: Full-time**

**Compensation:** **$17.85 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.**
**Schedule: This position consists of a combination of day shifts, night shifts that can include evenings, weekends and holidays.**
**Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital** is currently recruiting for a dependable and outgoing **Animal Care Attendant** to join our ER/ICU Team. This full-time opportunity includes a range of responsibilities which directly contribute to the efficient and effective daily operation of the department. A few attributes and qualifications are:
+ Caring for our patients; feeding, walking and offering a gentle voice of assurance
+ Ensure animal housing or enclosure is clean, sanitary and comfortable
+ Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and pet parents
+ Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting pets and pet parents at ease and creating a welcoming environment
+ General housekeeping duties
+ Willingness to learn more regarding veterinary services and updated medical procedures
+ Compassion and nurturing attitude
+ Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and maintain a high quality of care in a busy environment
+ Ability to adapt in changing situations
+ Working with a team focus, assisting the veterinary staff with various procedures, tasks and treatments
