I. Job Summary
The Shred-it Route Driver is responsible for providing industry leading levels of service to clients while taking care of all customer document destruction needs, including transporting supplies and materials, safely and in accordance with company policy and all local and federal laws. This involves loading and unloading the delivery vehicle and ensuring that all cargo is safely secured before transport.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information
+ Performs pre/post-trip checks, and driver check-in on assigned truck, prior to leaving or closing for the day. Reports maintenance issues to Transportation/Dispatcher for follow-up
+ Operates company equipment in a safe and efficient manner in an effort to minimize the risk of injury and equipment damage
+ Complies with all local, Provincial and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service. Complete and maintain DOT logs when applicable
+ Maintains a high level of security when emptying consoles and/or collection totes by ensuring all documents are retrieved and the consoles/containers are securely locked
+ Services accounts using a hand-held device, ensuring console/containers are barcoded, locations are up to date, and the accuracy of type and quantity of consoles/containers
+ Manages assigned routes ensuring customers' confidential material collected and serviced in a timely and accurate manner
+ Handles and responds to all customer problems and inquiries expediently and in the best interest of both the customer and Shred-it
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
III. Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
+ 3 years of experience, preferably in driving Box Trucks and route management
+ Valid Driver's License
B. Preferred Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
+ Class 5 Driver's license

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This position performs a variety of mechanical duties to truck and trailer units including diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair, as well as regularly scheduled preventative maintenance.
**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**
+ Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on concrete mixers and heavy truck equipment
+ Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
+ Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
+ Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other heavy vehicle components
+ Replace worn or faulty parts following manufacturer specifications and technical manuals
+ Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, parts, and labor hours
+ Collaborate with supervisors and equipment operators to identify issues and recommend preventive maintenance
+ Adhere to safety protocols and regulations throughout all maintenance and repair tasks
+ Stay updated on advancements in commercial transport technology and repair methods
+ Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
**Education:** High school diploma or equivalent. Trade certification preferred.
**Required Training/Certifications:** Level 3 or 4 Apprentice or Journeyperson certification as a Truck & Transport Mechanic. Class 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement preferred. Manitoba Vehicle Inspection Program certificate an asset.
**Required Work Experience:** Ready mix experience with London and Precision mixers an asset. Fleet Experience Preferred. Experience in the construction industry is an asset.
**Technical Experience:** Utilizing email and Microsoft Excel is considered an asset
**Additional Requirements:**
+ Must have own hand tools and toolbox
+ Strong knowledge of Cummins and Paccar engines, diesel systems, and heavy equipment components
+ Skilled in diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
+ Proficient with diagnostic tools and capable of troubleshooting complex mechanical issues
+ Qualified to perform annual safety inspections (MPI)
+ Able to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
+ Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills
+ Physically fit to handle heavy lifting and work in varying weather conditions
+ Welding and hydraulic systems experience considered an asset
+ Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

**Description du poste**
AECOM est à la recherche d'un(e) technicien(ne) en génie civil pour se joindre à notre équipe à Moncton, NB. La personne retenue contribuera à une variété de projets de génie civil en fournissant un soutien technique et en collaborant avec des ingénieurs, des architectes et d'autres professionnels afin d'assurer la réalisation réussie de projets d'infrastructures de transport et de développement urbain.
Dans ce rôle, vous participerez à des activités telles que les évaluations de sites, la préparation de la documentation de conception et le soutien aux projets pendant la phase de construction.
Principales responsabilités
+ Participer à la préparation des plans de conception, des rapports et des spécifications techniques.
+ Utiliser des logiciels pertinents (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) pour produire des dessins et générer des rapports.
+ Effectuer des calculs techniques et des analyses afin de soutenir la conception en génie civil.
+ Examiner les plans de projet et la documentation de conception afin d'en assurer l'exactitude et la conformité aux codes et normes applicables.
+ Fournir un soutien et une assistance techniques aux ingénieurs et aux équipes de projet.
+ Participer aux évaluations et aux inspections de sites.
+ Surveiller et documenter la conformité aux exigences de qualité, de performance, de sécurité et aux codes applicables.
+ Contribuer aux calculs d'ingénierie, installer et utiliser de l'équipement, et inspecter les installations afin de vérifier leur conformité aux spécifications.
+ Maintenir à jour la documentation, les dossiers et les dessins de projet.
+ Coordonner avec les clients, les parties prenantes et les entrepreneurs durant l'exécution des projets.

Qualifications minimales
+ Diplôme en technologie du génie civil ou dans un domaine connexe
+ 4 ans ou plus d'expérience pertinente
+ Maîtrise de logiciels de génie civil tels que AutoCAD, Civil 3D et Microsoft Office
+ Bonne connaissance des principes du génie civil ainsi que des pratiques de conception et de construction
+ Capacité à effectuer des calculs techniques et à interpréter des plans d'ingénierie
+ Excellentes compétences en communication et en organisation
+ Capacité à travailler efficacement au sein d'une équipe
Qualifications souhaitées
+ Certification de technologue en génie (CET) ou équivalent, un atout
+ Expérience préalable comme technicien(ne) en génie civil, idéalement dans un environnement de consultation ou de développement d'infrastructures
+ Expérience en conception de sites, nivellement et drainage
+ Connaissance des codes et normes locaux et nationaux applicables
+ Familiarité avec les procédures de gestion de projet et de construction
+ Expérience avec les SIG (GIS) ou d'autres outils de conception, un atout
+ Bilinguisme (anglais et français) considéré comme un atout
