**What are your contributions to the team?**
In your role as Senior Expert, Engineering, Avionics Systems you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the development, testing, certification, and in-service support of Avionics Systems of state-of-the-art business aircraft.
More specifically:
+ Define and manage engineering-related system and subsystem requirements to ensure safety, certification & aircraft design requirements and objectives are met.

+ Review, analyze and approve the test results.
+ Conduct and support ARP4754 system and aircraft verifications.
+ Manage, review, and approve the deliverables of the Avionics System Suppliers.
+ Liaise with Certifying Authorities and/or support their delegates in achieving system certification.
+ Support any engineering design related issues and bring them to closure.
+ Act as an advisor for the management team in one or multiple subsystems
**How to thrive in this role?**
+ You hold a University Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Software, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
+ You have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the field.
+ Strong knowledge of multiple Avionics Systems.
+ Considered to be an industry subject matter expert in at least one subdomain of Avionics Systems.
+ You have knowledge with the specification, design, integration, test and certification of Avionics systems on aircraft.
+ You understand how these systems integrate and interact to the overall aircraft.

This position has a hybrid work schedule and requires mandatory 2 days per week in the office.
The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $145,000 to CAD $178,000 per year. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier's sole discretion, such as the candidate's skills, experience and qualifications.
In some cases, the base salary offered may differ from the expected range of base salary listed above.

**What are your contributions to the team?**
The Control Laws/Stability and Control (Claws/S&C) team is responsible for ensuring appropriate aircraft flight characteristics. Key activities include designing/developing and testing Fly-by-Wire (FBW) flight control laws for the next generation Bombardier Aircrafts. **What are your contributions to the team?**
As a member of Supplier Quality Management Engineering, you will:
+ Collaborate with cross functional teams of internal and external stakeholders in resolution of repeat technical engineering issues for airframe and systems installation.
+ Provide engineering solutions for airframe and systems installation issues to support production operations on Bombardier Global platform aircraft (5500/6500/8000) in Mississauga and other production sites.
+ Provide integrated engineered solutions to resolve design for manufacturing issues impacting final line production.
+ Perform technical engineering analysis of existing systems and structural designs in order to make recommendations for improvements via RFC/PCR.
+ Provide technical engineering focused guidance to support functions such as Quality, Methods, and Production.
+ Prepare relative engineering documentation required for on aircraft testing.
+ Create/enable a positive and collaborative team environment with internal and external stakeholders and take concrete steps/actions to keep high level of engagement within the team.
+ Support technical engineering meetings/review internationally.
+ Develop good working relationships with various departments within BA.
**How to thrive in this role?**
+ You have a Bachelors or Master's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in airframe primary and secondary structural design including systems installations.
+ You have knowledge of CATIA V5 design, kinematics and modeling software.
+ You have strong knowledge of aircraft structure/system installation design with proper consideration of materials, manufacturing processes, GD&T & Stack-up analysis, civil aircraft certification rules and experience in certification procedures.

+ Prepare and/or approve Aircraft / System Safety Analysis and/or Particular Risk Assessments compliance reports and demonstrating compliance with FAR/CS part and other relevant requirements.

**What are your contributions to the team?**
In your role as Senior Technical Expert, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the development, testing, certification, production, and in-service support of Avionics Systems of state-of-the-art business aircraft.
More specifically:
+ Define and manage the overall systems and subsystems requirements to ensure safety, certification & aircraft design requirements and objectives are met.
+ Work with the system suppliers as well as other interfacing suppliers and disciplines on the program to ensure the system is properly designed to be integrated smoothly on the aircraft.
+ Define the installation of the avionics systems on the Aircraft.
+ Be responsible for the timely integration of one or few systems, such as AFCS, Communication (VHF, HF, SATCOM, Datalink), Navigation (ADF, VOR, ILS, DME, TCAS, Transponder, IRS, GPS, FMS, Weather Radar), Displays (EFIS, EICAS, HUD, SVS), Information/Maintenance & Recording (IMS, OMS, Data load, CVR, FDR, AHMS), on the aircraft.
+ Write, Conduct or Witness development and certification tests on rigs and/or the aircraft.
+ Review, analyze and approve the test results.
+ Conduct and support ARP4754 system and aircraft verifications and validations.
+ Manage, review, and approve the deliverables of the Avionics System Suppliers.
+ Liaise with Certifying Authorities and/or support their delegates in achieving system certification.
+ Support the Final Assembly Line and In Service Aircrafts for any design related issues and bring them to closure.
+ Participate in the development and implementation of tools and processes as needed by the function to meet our organizational objectives.
+ Act as a technical advisor for the management team in one or multiple subsystems
