**What are your contributions to the team?**
+ Provide primary technical engineering expertise and leadership in resolving manufacturing issues in the Operations, Quality, Customer Support and Supply Chain departments.
+ Perform technical engineering audits of suppliers and follow-up on corrective actions.

**How to thrive in this role?**
+ You hold an engineering degree or a college diploma in engineering (Materials, Metallurgy or Mechanical), with ten (10) years of experience.
+ You are certified as a NAS-410 NDT Level 3 or Level 2 in Ultrasonic testing and you are certified in or have an in-depth knowledge of one of the following inspection methods:
+ Radiography, Eddy Current, Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Infrared Thermography testing.
+ You have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Ultrasonic inspection of aerospace composite material in a production environment, using automated and/or semi-automated Ultrasonic inspection systems.
+ You are knowledgeable about typical NDT aerospace codes and standards, NADCAP, and with the development of non-destructive inspection procedures.
+ You are familiar with the NDT inspection methodologies of composite materials, assemblies, aircraft structures, aerospace terminology and technical drawings.
+ You know how to conduct NDT technical audits in-line with your field of expertise.
+ You have shown strong leadership, problem solving, project and time/priority management skills in your past assignments and require minimum supervision.

In your role as Senior Expert, Engineering, Avionics Systems you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the development, testing, certification, and in-service support of Avionics Systems of state-of-the-art business aircraft.
More specifically:
+ Define and manage engineering-related system and subsystem requirements to ensure safety, certification & aircraft design requirements and objectives are met.
+ Work with the system suppliers as well as other interfacing suppliers and disciplines to ensure the system is properly designed to be integrated smoothly on the aircraft.

+ Liaise with Certifying Authorities and/or support their delegates in achieving system certification.
+ Support any engineering design related issues and bring them to closure.

**How to thrive in this role?**
+ You hold a University Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Software, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.

+ Perform dynamic aeroelastic response analyses for tuned discrete gust and continuous turbulence with and without the effects from fly-by-wire
+ Define restrictions and special instructions for flight test procedures based on loads and dynamics analyses
+ Provide Loads support for both flight test and in-service AOGs
+ Document analyses and findings in engineering certification reports
+ Support Aircraft Landing Gear development, analysis and test.
**How to thrive in this role?**
+ A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (advanced education is considered an asset)
+ A minimum of 10 years of experience in external loads analyses in the aerospace industry
+ Strong understanding of the FAR 25 certification requirements and regulatory standards
+ Deep expertise in static and dynamic aeroelastic loads analysis
+ Proven ability to develop finite element models (FEM), compute airframe and component design loads (e.g., high lift and control surfaces) and perform flutter and aeroservoelastic analyses
+ Hands-on experience with Nastran for dynamic and aeroelastic analysis; familiarity with DMAP is a plus
+ Solid knowledge of FEM principles, unsteady aerodynamics, and frequency-based data analysis
+ Familiarity with linearization of controls laws for use in TDG, PSD gust, and aeroservoelastic simulations
+ Strong understanding of engine fan blade-out and windmilling dynamic loads analysis
+ Experience working in flight test environments, including data collection and correlation between test results and analytical predictions
+ Good knowledge of flight test instrumentation (e.g., strain gauges, accelerometers, pressure sensors)
+ Advanced programming skills in MATLAB, Python, Fortran, C/C++, and scripting in Linux/Windows environments
+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan and execute tasks within budget and schedule
+ Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills (written and verbal)
+ Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities

**What are your contributions to the team?**
In your role as Senior Technical Expert, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the development, testing, certification, production, and in-service support of Avionics Systems of state-of-the-art business aircraft.
More specifically:
+ Define and manage the overall systems and subsystems requirements to ensure safety, certification & aircraft design requirements and objectives are met.
+ Work with the system suppliers as well as other interfacing suppliers and disciplines on the program to ensure the system is properly designed to be integrated smoothly on the aircraft.
+ Define the installation of the avionics systems on the Aircraft.
+ Be responsible for the timely integration of one or few systems, such as AFCS, Communication (VHF, HF, SATCOM, Datalink), Navigation (ADF, VOR, ILS, DME, TCAS, Transponder, IRS, GPS, FMS, Weather Radar), Displays (EFIS, EICAS, HUD, SVS), Information/Maintenance & Recording (IMS, OMS, Data load, CVR, FDR, AHMS), on the aircraft.
+ Write, Conduct or Witness development and certification tests on rigs and/or the aircraft.
+ Review, analyze and approve the test results.
+ Conduct and support ARP4754 system and aircraft verifications and validations.
+ Manage, review, and approve the deliverables of the Avionics System Suppliers.
+ Liaise with Certifying Authorities and/or support their delegates in achieving system certification.
+ Support the Final Assembly Line and In Service Aircrafts for any design related issues and bring them to closure.
+ Participate in the development and implementation of tools and processes as needed by the function to meet our organizational objectives.
+ Act as a technical advisor for the management team in one or multiple subsystems
**How to thrive in this role?**
+ You hold a University Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Software, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
+ You have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the field.
+ Strong knowledge of multiple Avionics Systems.
+ Considered to be an industry subject matter expert in at least one subdomain of Avionics Systems.
+ You have knowledge with the specification, design, integration, test and certification of Avionics systems on aircraft.
+ You understand how these systems integrate and interact to the overall aircraft.
+ You have the ability to influence the technical direction of a solution.
+ You are familiar with the industry standards DO-178, DO-160 and ARP4754 (Asset)
+ Knowledge and/or Experience on Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) systems (Asset)
+ You have strong communication skills (verbal and written)
+ You have excellent problem-solving skills, work planning structure and prioritization.
+ You have the ability to work well in a team environment.
+ You are willing to travel.
This position has a hybrid work schedule and requires mandatory 2 days per week in the office.
