Job Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Zuora Subscription Data Migration Specialist who will act as the go-to resource for end-to-end data migration activities in the context of transitioning Lead-to-Cash operations from various systems . The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Zuora Billing and Subscription Management , excellent SQL/data analysis skills , and a good understanding of revenue operations and subscription lifecycle processes .
In addition to data extraction, reconciliation, and advisory responsibilities, the candidate should be comfortable collaborating across business, IT, and QA teams and provide support for business-as-usual (BAU) tasks post-migration such as bug fixes and minor system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Migration & Analysis
- Lead and execute data extraction and transformation activities from legacy systems (Veritas) and prepare data for ingestion into systems using Zuora as the subscription platform.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for extracting, transforming, and validating large sets of financial, billing, and subscription data.
- Conduct thorough data analysis to identify discrepancies, anomalies, and mapping gaps across billing, subscription, invoicing, and customer account datasets.
- Support data cleansing, transformation logic, and loading mechanisms , ensuring data integrity throughout the migration pipeline.
- Perform data reconciliation and validation post-migration , collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure migrated data aligns with business rules and functional expectations.
BAU Support & Enhancements
- Act as an advisory resource for business stakeholders on Zuora-related workflows, especially in Subscription, Product Catalog, Invoicing, and Billing modules.
- Support bug fixes, minor enhancements, and configuration updates as needed in response to BAU issues or process refinements.
- Provide input to IT teams and data architects on Zuora best practices , schema relationships, and custom data models.
- Collaborate with QA teams for testing strategy and support UAT cycles with relevant test data sets and validation queries.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5–8+ years of experience in data migration, with at least 3+ years working on Zuora (Billing & Revenue modules) .
- Proven experience in Lead-to-Cash workflows , especially Subscription Management, Product Catalog, Rate Plans, Invoicing, Payments, and Amendments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational data modeling for extraction, transformation, and validation of subscription and financial data.
- Solid understanding of Zuora object model , key tables (e.g., Subscription, RatePlan, RatePlanCharge, Invoice, Payment), and custom field handling.
- Demonstrated ability in data reconciliation and root cause analysis with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Experience with data migration lifecycle including requirement gathering, mapping, transformation logic, testing, and post-go-live support.
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and provide advisory inputs.
- Familiarity with error-handling mechanisms during data loads and rollback strategies.
- Hands-on experience with data profiling tools , Excel, and structured reports for reconciliation.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Boomi) and integration frameworks used with Zuora.
- Familiarity with Zuora REST APIs and Data Query (ZOQL) for advanced reporting or automation.
- Experience in working with Salesforce-Zuora integration or middleware solutions (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Workato).
- Understanding of GAP revenue recognition principles and Zuora Revenue module (formerly RevPro).
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Salesforce CPQ, or any other ERP/CRM system connected with the Zuora ecosystem.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum project environments with JIRA/Confluence documentation.
- Exposure to data governance, audit tracking, and compliance frameworks like SOX, GDPR as applied to subscription data.

JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Database Administration plays a vital leadership role in managing all aspects of gift processing, donor data integrity, and reporting infrastructure at the Foundation. Reporting to the CFO, this role is the lead administrator of Raiser’s Edge NXT and other fundraising technology platforms. The Manager ensures optimal system performance, data quality, and information security while also developing and maintaining analytics capabilities to support strategic decision-making and enhance the donor journey.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Database Systems Management
- Serve as the primary administrator for CRM systems, including Raiser’s Edge NXT and other revenue-generating platforms.
- Ensure data hygiene and accuracy across all donor and gift records.
- Oversee report generation and donor list management to support fundraising and pipeline development.
- Collaborate with Foundation teams to define data requirements for events and campaigns.
- Maintain and integrate software platforms including CrowdChange, Asana, Importacular, and iWave.
- Lead the design and implementation of custom dashboards and workflow automations using Microsoft Power Platform tools, especially Power BI and Power Automate.
- Analyze internal fundraising performance and compare trends across the nonprofit sector.
- Provide actionable insights on giving patterns and donor engagement to support strategy.
- Recommend systems and tools for enhanced tracking, segmentation, and analysis.
- Champion continuous improvement and share best practices through collaboration with peer organizations.
- Provide on-site operational support during events to ensure smooth data capture and management.
- Offer mentorship and guidance to the Finance and Operations Coordinator.
- Perform additional duties and project support as assigned by the CFO.
Education: Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; additional training in computer science, analytics, or fundraising systems is an asset.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of database management experience in a fundraising or nonprofit setting, with advanced proficiency in Raiser’s Edge NXT; experience with various online giving platforms is an asset.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with Power BI and Power Automate for reporting and process automation.
- Familiarity with CRA charitable receipting regulations, PCI compliance, and privacy policy frameworks.

$75,000 to $90,000
WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER
Our total compensation package includes:
- Competitive salary to commensurate with your experience and skills;
