Your Day-to-Day
- Further the offering of our national Sports Medicine brand.
- Provide preventative and interventional treatments for our clients, including intra-articular Autologous Protein, PRP Hyaluronic, and Corticosteroid injections.
- Collaborate seamlessly with allied health practitioners to deliver optimal rehabilitation for athletes of all levels.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of musculoskeletal injuries and determine suitability for rehabilitation and further consultation.
- Demonstrate expertise in assessing and managing concussions within the sports population.
- Collaborate with coaches, dieticians, physiotherapists, strength and conditioning coaches, and other healthcare practitioners to facilitate athletes' return to play.
- Empower athletes to maximize performance levels and prevent injuries.
- Develop results-oriented treatment and rehabilitation plans for patients.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine, licensed to practice in BC.
- Diploma in Sports Medicine, a special interest, or other post-graduate training in sports medicine.
- Registered and in good standing with BC's College of Physicians and Surgeons.
- Specialization in Sports Medicine an asset.

**Position Overview:**
The **Industrial Sports Medicine Professional** is responsible for providing onsite care to the working athletes we serve by being the expert in job function and technical task analysis, maintaining a thorough understanding of functional body movements, discomforts, and following established OSHA First Aid standards and/or Canadian Safety Resources and Regulations (CanOSH and CCOHS) guidelines.
This position is an integral part of the Industrial Sports Medicine Service line and will collaborate with other Briotix Health key stakeholders. The goals of the position are to develop strong relationships, provide injury prevention & early discomfort management (EDM) programs, and assist in providing ergonomic solutions to Briotix Health's clients.

+ **Provide on-site services in: Ottawa, ON, Canada.**

Practice Highlights
+ Dedicated space in clinic; across the street from St. Joseph Medical Center
