**General Description:**
As a commercial member of the newly formed R360 organization, the Energy Marketing Representative is accountable for driving earnings through the optimization of R360u2019s facilities. As a key interface to our customers, the Energy Marketing Rep will lead in the identification and sourcing of crude oil supply, working closely with facility managers, field sales and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a strong network within the energy industry and be focused on providing excellent levels of customer service.
As an Energy Marketing Representative with us the minimum responsibilities are:
Provide oversight of optimization of R360u2019s network of facilities, blending and other commercial activities, working with partners and stakeholders
Negotiate physical purchase and sale agreements for crude oil and liquids
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, pipelines and internal stakeholders (operations, sales, finance, BD, senior leadership)
Manage product movements and cost of supply to optimize facility performance, taking action to mitigate issues and increase profitability
Utilize optimization and netback models to understand and drive profitability and producer netbacks
Monitor and analyze monthly earnings in relation to forecasts, budget and market activity
Maintain in depth knowledge of crude oil and liquids markets and pricing, pipeline rules and regulations, shipping specifications, and transportation
Mentor and develop schedulers and energy marketing analysts
Manage internal budgeting and forecasting process for asset optimization activities, coordinate forecasting of recovered oil
**What We Need From You:**
A minimum of 5 years previous work experience in crude oil marketing or commercial roles
A university degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Engineering
Comprehensive understanding of Canadian crude oil markets, infrastructure and pricing
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with various internal and external stakeholders
Must be self-motivated and a strong team player
Highly effective analytical, organization skills and attention to detail

Monitor crude oil volume movements and quality, troubleshooting any variances and providing logistical support as needed. Make recommendations around forecasting, alternate movements and optimization as well as reconciliation of actual values
Monitor and interpret market dynamics to ensure optimization of R360u2019s asset network, identify potential opportunities to improve utilization and profitability
Provide analytical support for business development opportunities
Build relationships through networking with industry customers and partners to understand key business drivers, developments and anticipate industry trends
May perform other duties as required
**What We Need From You:**

2-3 years of experience in an Energy Marketing role preferred, with knowledge of industry fundamentals and pricing

As part of the Roads and Highways Group the successful candidate will have hands-on project management experience for Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Regions/Municipalities doing EA and preliminary design on roads and highway widening and/or interchange modifications. In this role, you will manage the overall EA & PD portfolio on both MTO and municipal projects. And play a key role in growing our EA & PD business. Leading and overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of environmental assessment and preliminary design projects this role ensures that all projects comply with environmental regulations and sustainability standards which promoting environmentally responsible practices in all planning processes. This position requires strong leadership, project management and technical expertise in environmental planning and preliminary design.
Experience with the Class EA processes at both municipal and provincial levels, strong understanding of environmental constraints, impact assessments and mitigation strategies, together with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary studies and coordinate with stakeholders is required. This includes Implementation of public consultation programs, the analysis and evaluation of alternatives, and documentation of the planning process.
This position will lead and manage a design team during the preliminary design phase requiring familiarity with preliminary design standards (MTO, TAC) and regulations and provide guidance, and support to design engineers. Work closely with clients and stakeholders and ensure that all preliminary the design concepts meet technical, safety, corridor planning, environmental and regulatory standards. The Preliminary Design Manager for Highways is responsible for overseeing the preliminary design of highway projects, including road alignments, junction design, drainage systems, earthworks, and other associated elements.

- Experience with energy storage in both utility-scale and/or large industrial facilities, including the following design types, is strongly preferred: battery technology/chemistry selection, battery sizing, one-line development, site arrangements, inverter selection, cable ampacity calculations, grounding, protective relaying and associated systems design and construction administration.
- 7 years electrical engineering experience. EPC project experience preferred.
- Excellent written & verbal communication, as well as strong analytical & problem-solving skills, are required.
