As a Concentrix Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Key Duties

  • Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner
  • Load customer orders properly on the truck

Minimum Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:

We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a Transportation Manager with experience in managing vehicle logistics and driving operational efficiency. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for logistics services in your assigned market. You will be involved in coordinating the daily operations of drive-away and sublet transport services for vehicles to/from our customers at the Vehicle Logistics Centers (VLCs). In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience in logistics, management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience in logistics and managing teams. 

Who You Will Work With :

  • Reporting to the Sr Manager, Logistics Operations, this role will collaborate with the market logistics team on a daily basis.

  • You will also collaborate with Vehicle Logistics Center (VLC) operations and customer support teams in your assigned region on a regular basis.

  • You will oversee a team of drivers, administrative clerks, dispatchers and supervisors (if applicable)

  • Detail-oriented. You will ensure a high degree of accuracy in your tasks, in accordance with our customer and company requirements.

You Will:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, training, and development to the logistics team, including managing the internal driver pool and overseeing carrier dispatching, compliance, and claims.

  • Manage team staffing, scheduling, and timekeeping to ensure adequate coverage for pickup and delivery order volume.

  • Attract, engage, and retain talent, ensuring all employees are thoroughly familiar with safe work processes and operating procedures.

  • Serve as the primary transportation contact for the local Vehicle Logistics Center (VLC), resolving customer concerns and setting a high standard of satisfaction.

  • Be accountable for the market's financial performance, using KPIs and standardized reports to monitor spending, manage costs, and forecast against actuals.

  • Manage the safe, efficient, and profitable movement of fleet lease, factory, and consignment vehicles by ensuring all processes meet or exceed SLA standards.

  • Promote a safe work environment by ensuring department-specific safety tasks are completed in accordance with the safety program.

  • Support initiatives by engaging in their development, deployment, and change management.

Must Haves:

  • 3-5 Years’ of related experience in a logistics or dispatching role 

  • 3-5 years supervisory experience

  • Tech-savvy, and comfortable using Google Suite 

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to maintain calm and diplomatic in dispute resolution situations

  • Autonomous, self-driven, proactive and a team player

  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills with the ability to juggle demands and meet deadlines

Nice to Haves:

  • Related-post secondary education preferred

  • Proficient in Google applications 

  • CRM experience (SalesForce, Five9 preferred)

  • Experience in software support or automotive knowledge preferred

  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset

Pay: $25 - $28 / hour

Dartmouth, NS

Monday to Friday 6 am start time

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a commercial vehicle and diligently perform all duties in a safe manner, including vehicle inspections. 

  • Efficiently manage customer base within established routes.

  • Use application based handheld system to key transactions and manage customer data.

  • Manage inventory and balance daily route activities.

  • Complete service calls and resolving customer issues to help develop relationships with our customers.

  • Protect company assets, including collection of equipment and customer payments.

  • Identify opportunities to acquire new long-term customers to support route growth and ability to upsell our current products.  

Qualifications:

  • Class 3 license
  • Ability to lift and carry an average of 250+ units per day, each weighing up to 45 lbs., using product handling tools as appropriate, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to travel to our Truro, NS branch for route coverage, as needed
  • Ability to climb in and out of a commercial vehicle on average 40-55 times per day
  • Service-oriented with strong face-to-face sales skills
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and in different types of weather
  • Ability to effectively interact with customers in a variety of settings
  • Ability to work an average 45-hour week or more, including variable start/end times
  • Ability to alternately sit, stand, push, pull and walk all day, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • You must possess a clean driving record, which means: in the last 3 years, that you’ve only had 1 license, no driving-related suspension, revocation or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than 2 moving violations and no reckless driving incidents and in the last 3 years, no major driving offenses including DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene, driving a commercial vehicle without a license, or at-fault fatal accident.
