WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
• Develop working relationships with internal and external customers, assist with account management such as maintaining customer profiles, details and service needs. Address various internal and external customer questions and concerns regarding shipments, billing, status, services, carriers, and other needs; forward complex or escalated customer needs as appropriate.
• Interface with airlines, shipping, truck and related carriers to understand requirements, track shipments or details; operations are typically standard to complex.
• Manage various documents for accuracy; requires operational knowledge of customers, carriers, and procedures. Update various operational/customer data in software systems and applications, work to identify missing or potential operational or service concerns and communicate with appropriate groups as necessary to resolve.
• Utilize databases, logs, and other sources to locate and verify information; information is usually operational in nature, standard to complex.
• Track orders and shipments and assist with tracing as needed; usually more standard, regional or domestic operations. Create and processes invoices, reviews for operational accuracy, and works with customers on questions and payment.
• Assist with running and summarizing operational reports and details; present information to co-workers or supervisors are needed. Assist with preparing information required for quotes or address potential services; may provide more standard to complex quotes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and maintain a safe and effective work environment; assist others with understanding operational items.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education and Experience:
• High School graduate or GED.
• Five years of office experience in a logistics/transportation environment.
Skills:
• Basic to Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
• Utilizes databases and systems to review and verify documentation and information.
• Ability to prepare basic reports, queries, and operational information.
• Ability to track and trace basic shipments or product.
Characteristics:
• Understanding of providers, carriers and services in related supply chain environments.

- Performing product change overs, CIP's on the filler(s) and sanitation.
- Controlling computerized panels with progress for the line.

Reporting to the Toronto Operations Manager, our Logistics Specialists are primarily responsible for the paring of company resources to system orders while ensuring safety and efficiency-minded critical thinking. About the position:
- Matching drivers, trucks and trailers to orders based on load requirements and qualifications while optimizing fleet resources and ensuring proper utilization
- Ensuring drivers have adequate hours of service and rest
- Ensuring product compatibility with equipment when assigning each load

- Previous demonstrated experience in forecasting, manpower allocation and scheduling proficiencies
- Familiarity and experience with RM's, road bans and permitting- knowledge of LSD is an asset
- Experience with windows-based programs is required; TMW experience is an asset – must be computer literate and savvy
- High level of communication skills; both verbally and written
- Outstanding customer service behaviors
- Must have strong organizational, interpersonal as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

2Spirit Manitoba Inc. (2SMB) is a not-for-profit organization with office located in Winnipeg, on Treaty 1 territory, on the lands of the Anishinaabeg, Dene, Dakota, Ininew, Anishininew, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
2SMB began in 1986 in Winnipeg, when a group of concerned community members came together to support each other and plan community events for our 2Spirit relatives. After many years of small-scale community support, we incorporated as a non-profit organization in March SMB is now a community-driven organization that focusses on helping 2Spirit & Indigenous LGBTQQIA+ (2SIQ) holistically improve their circumstances. About the Role:
2SMB seeks to fulfill one part-time Logistics, Communication, and Community Access Helper position for our Good Relatives anti-discrimination Project which will operate throughout Northern and Southern Manitoba. Reporting to the Good Relatives Project Lead, the Logistics, Communication & Community Access Helper position plays a key supporting role in ensuring the practical, cultural, and accessibility needs of participants and communities are honored throughout the Good Relatives Project. This includes coordinating transportation, food, materials, venues, access accommodations, and comfort logistics that uphold the dignity, safety, and inclusion of 2Spirit participants, Elders, and staff.
This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, deeply relational, and committed to anti-colonial access work. You're the person who makes sure no one is left out due to systemic barriers like location, mobility, income, or care responsibilities. You'll work closely with the Project Lead and other team members to co-create welcoming, affirming, and inclusive learning environments.
Role Responsibilities:
Community Access Coordination
- Coordinate transportation logistics for participants (e.g., gas cards, carpooling, shuttle rental, taxi, or bus tickets).
- Identify and confirm accessible venues that meet mobility, sensory, and cultural needs.
- Respond to participant access requests (language interpretation, scent-free space, neurodivergent accommodations, etc.).
- Support childcare coordination or youth-friendly spaces when needed.
- Ensure all materials (paper copies, visuals, workshop kits) are accessible (e.g., large print, plain language, translations as needed).
Comfort & Care Planning
- Plan, source, and coordinate nutritious and culturally relevant meals/snacks, including dietary accommodations.
- Pack, prepare, and distribute workshop materials, land-based tools, and care items in advance of travel or events.
- Coordinate preparation of welcoming spaces, including culturally appropriate touches like tea stations, ceremonial items (in consultation with organization & local Knowledge Keepers/Elders).

Must Have Qualifications:
· Experience coordinating logistics for events, community gatherings, or programming especially in Indigenous or 2Spirit contexts.
· Deep understanding of accessibility as anti-colonial practice.
· Familiarity with harm reduction, trauma-informed, and culturally grounded approaches.
· Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to adapt to last-minute changes.
· Comfort working with budgets, receipts, and administrative systems.
