Oversee all aspects of polyiso manufacturing operations including raw material handling (e.g., polyols, isocyanates, blowing agents), foam production, lamination, cutting, and packaging.
Direct production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet demands while minimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.
Monitor and optimize key process parameters (e.g., reaction rates, foam density, curing times) to ensure consistent polyiso product performance and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASTM, UL).
Lead a team of supervisors, operators, and maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
Develop and manage the plantu2019s operating budget, including labor, materials, and capital expenditures, while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure equipment reliability through preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting, and coordination with maintenance teams for repairs and upgrades.
Implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve yield in polyiso production.
Maintain compliance with Canadian occupational health and safety regulations (e.g., OHSA), Environmental Protection Act standards, and other provincial requirements, including safe handling of chemicals (e.g., pentane, HFOs) and waste management.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address product defects, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for plant-level decision-making in Brampton, including vendor negotiations, workforce management, and emergency response planning.
Coordinate with R&D and engineering teams to support new product development, process trials, and equipment modifications.
Prepare and present performance reports (e.g., production metrics, downtime analysis, safety incidents) to senior leadership.
Travel outside of Canada as required to attend meetings, visit other facilities, or collaborate with global teams on operational or strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
Bacheloru2019s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, polyiso or similar foam insulation production (e.g., XPS, EPS, PUR) would be beneficial.
Proven track record in plant management or operations leadership, including budgeting, staffing, and process optimization.
Strong knowledge of polyiso manufacturing processes, including chemical reactions, blowing agents (e.g., pentane, HFOs), and continuous lamination systems.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage conflict, and drive performance in a fast-paced production setting.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
Proficiency in production management software (e.g., ERP systems, MES) and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and interact with senior management.
In-depth understanding of Ontariou2019s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Environmental Protection Act, and fire safety regulations related to chemical handling and foam production.

About the role
You will be our global Senior Sales Operations Manager / Director of Sales Operations. You will design & manage Viamo's sales approach across Viamo's sales functions, owning the Marketing and Communications approach, ensuring that sales representatives have the training, tools, and data insights to achieve their sales objectives. You are data and detail-oriented, strong in process design and knowledge management, with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders outside of your direct supervision. You are a self-starter, an excellent communicator, and are extremely organized and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of Viamo's sales approach for direct bookings (i.e., Country Sales and Strategic Partnerships teams), with the responsibility to design, operationalize, and continually improve a sales plan that will drive forward Viamo's sales function :
Improve the Attitude around sales
Foster a culture of positive sales attitudes, accountability and performance.
Design, coordinate and continually improve the onboarding content and process for new sales staff, supported by Sales Management and other relevant staff.
Ownership of VIamo's sales tools (i.e., HubSpot CRM, .)

The R&D Operations team provides support across the entire R&D organization, helping with program status reporting, bridging R&D and manufacturing, training programs, process development, tools development & support, test automation, coordinating centralized support, site-wide social activities, patent applications, and a bunch of other stuff to help the R&D team as a whole be as effective as possible. We are the grease or the glue (depending on the situation!) and get to work with several corporate functions outside of R&D, including facilities, finance, manufacturing, tech support, sales, marketing and IT/IS.
As part of this team, the Senior R&D Operations Manager – DevSecOps will drive our infrastructure automation, operational efficiency, and delivery excellence. Your role will involve designing and assisting with the implementation of strategies to enhance automation, streamline processes, and ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of Ross Video’s products and services.
This is a key leadership role where you will champion DevSecOps culture across the organization, mentor teams, assist with implementing cutting-edge security technologies, and play a pivotal part in Ross Video’s commitment to delivering secure and innovative solutions to our global customers. With a wide breadth of product types, the DevSecOps leader, in collaboration with Product Security, needs to tailor approaches to meet the needs of the product team, noting that “one size does not fit all”.

What the job is all about:
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute the DevSecOps vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Evangelize DevSecOps good practices.
- Lead collaboration across product teams, IT, and operations to enhance delivery pipelines and infrastructure reliability.
- Collaborate with Product Security, product teams, and IT to integrate security practices into software development and operational workflows.
- Advocate for a “shift-left” security culture to address risks and optimize quality early in the development process.
- Establish best practices for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and monitoring systems.
- Seek opportunities to partner with R&D technical leadership to drive continuous improvement in deployment speed, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
Infrastructure and Automation:
- Provide guidance for the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure (on-premises and/or cloud).
- Identify opportunities and automate repetitive tasks, system deployments, and configuration management.
- Work with product teams to optimize resource usage, costs, and performance for cloud and on-prem environments.
Process Optimization:
- In collaboration with Product Security and the R&D Tools team, work with product teams to implement and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable, and secure software releases.
- Provide guidance for the development and enforcement of policies for source control, branching, and merging strategies.
- Work with the Product Security team to ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational security policies.
Monitoring and Incident Response:
- Provide guidance for the development and maintenance of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for production and development environments, working with the product teams as appropriate.
- Assist with defining on-call processes and SLAs, as appropriate, for infrastructure within scope of responsibility.
- Manage incident response processes, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reporting for infrastructure within scope of responsibility.
- Drive operational excellence by identifying and mitigating system bottlenecks or vulnerabilities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with leadership to align DevSecOps initiatives with broader business objectives.
- Act as a technical advisor to development teams, ensuring infrastructure meets application requirements.
- Communicate technical concepts and progress to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Team Leadership:
- Working with the Product Security team, mentor and coach engineering and IT teams on secure coding practices and secure architecture principles.
- Build and manage a high-performing DevSecOps team, fostering continuous learning and innovation.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing thought leadership on DevSecOps trends and advancements.
Security Integration:
- Embed security tools and practices into CI/CD pipelines to automate vulnerability detection and compliance.

Automation:

Who you are:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years in DevOps, security engineering, or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash, Go, etc.).
- Expertise in monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, threat modeling, and risk assessment techniques.
- Experience with security tools like SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanners, and WAS (Web Application Security Testing) .
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and guide teams.

About the Role
As the leader of the Real Estate team, you will manage Wealthsimple’s real estate portfolio, facilities and operational budget, external vendors and partnerships along with their respective contracts. You will also be responsible for leading the team that designs programs and policies that bring to life a world class employee workplace experience that combines in office experiences.This is a role based out of our Toronto office, reporting to the Senior Director, HR Services.
Key responsibilities
Real Estate Portfolio Management:- Managing real estate transactions across the full life cycle of Wealthsimple’s real estate portfolio, including new lease negotiations, renewals, and office decommissions.
- Managing the relationship between Wealthsimple and its landlords, commercial real estate brokers, architects, contractors, and the city’s permitting offices
- Overseeing leasehold improvements, procurement at scale, retrofits and construction within existing or newly acquired properties in line with lease obligations.
- Managing financial transactions relating to lease obligations (base rent, utilities, additional expenses and annual reconciliations)
- Manage vendor selection processes; source and run RFP process for new vendor relationships for any large scale service contracts
- Monitoring spend and overall contract SLA delivery for core vendors; managing contract renewals, and performance managing out low performing vendors
- Shaping growth and contract expansion within existing vendor relationships, innovating on service offerings and consolidating functions where applicable
- End to end execution of real estate programs and projects, providing the steps and / or costs associated with implementation, providing recommendations on a preferred approach
- Leading cross-functional real estate and workplace projects and coordinating internal and external stakeholders
- Implementing / rolling out programs seamlessly to the team, with consideration to change management and employee communications for smooth adoption
- Data collection, analysis and insights tracking office utilization, growth and remote employee distributions; providing insights based on occupancy trends and growing remote employee densities
- Provide taxable benefit reconciliation report for payroll on a monthly basis for food & beverage program
- 10+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in corporate real estate and/or facilities management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in managing a portfolio of workplaces across multiple jurisdictions
- Knowledge of construction codes, by-laws, facilities management, operations, health and safety, and industry standards pertaining to workplace planning, design and construction.
- Expertise in planning and design of workspaces, construction cost estimation
- Experience with financial budgeting and processes, operations, and construction contract policies, procedures, and audit requirements to manage and control project expenditures.
- In-depth knowledge of process and/or facility management tools and methodologies.
