We are looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Agricultural Sales Representative at our Grand Falls, NB location .
Salary plus commission.
Salary: $45,000/yr
Commission: 5% on gross margin
Purpose:
Sells new and used Agricultural equipment to new and existing customers.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
- Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
- Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management
- Knows and follows a defined sales process
- Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events
- Conducts new equipment field demonstrations
- Monitors trends in customer's business activities and timely communicates to management
- Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
- Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
What you'll need
Qualifications
- 1+ years equipment sales experience
- Knowledge of agricultural and turf equipment preferred
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Must have a valid, clean driver's license

This may involve using GIS tools to model factors such as hydrological processes, species distribution, habitat suitability, and land-use changes, to support environmental planning and decision-making.Position Requirements and Qualifications University Degree or technical diploma is required in Environmental, Earth Science, Forestry, Biology, Engineering, Geomatics or Surveying.Professional registration or eligibility in one of Alberta’s Professional Regulatory Organizations.Work experience in forestry, wildlife, fishery, agriculture, landuse planning or related field.Demonstrated knowledge of GIS and remote sensing using ESRI and open source. This includes the ability to acquire, manage and analyze geospatial data; effectively communicating.
