We are looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Agricultural Sales Representative at our Grand Falls, NB location .

Salary plus commission.

Salary: $45,000/yr

Commission: 5% on gross margin

Purpose:

Sells new and used Agricultural equipment to new and existing customers.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area
  • Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
  • Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
  • Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management
  • Knows and follows a defined sales process
  • Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events
  • Conducts new equipment field demonstrations
  • Monitors trends in customer's business activities and timely communicates to management
  • Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
  • Attends applicable sales training events/seminars

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • 1+ years equipment sales experience
  • Knowledge of agricultural and turf equipment preferred
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Must have a valid, clean driver's license

As a Dairy Farm Worker in Canada, you'll be an essential part of the dairy industry, contributing to the production and maintenance of dairy products.

Animal Care:

Provide daily care for dairy cattle, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health and well-being.Assist with the birthing process and provide postnatal care to newborn calves.Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the farm veterinarian.

Milking Operations:

Operate milking equipment and machinery to milk cows efficiently.Ensure proper milking hygiene and sanitation standards are maintained.Monitor milk production and identify any abnormalities or issues with milking equipment.

Barn Maintenance:

Clean and maintain barns, milking parlors, and other farm facilities.Bedding management: Ensure clean and comfortable bedding for cows.Repair and maintain farm infrastructure, including fences, gates, and feeding equipment.

Field Work:

Assist with pasture management, including rotational grazing and field maintenance.Harvest and store feed for winter months, such as hay and silage.Operate farm machinery for tasks like mowing, raking, and baling hay.
