We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Mobile Logging Equipment Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and performance of heavy mobile logging equipment, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently in challenging forestry environments.
Check heavy equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment for detect faults and malfunctions
Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required as well as log the issues
Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools as per the requirements
Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
Specialized forestry Equipment such as forwarder, buncher, tower yarder and wheeled harvester
Requirements
Ability to run the machines is a requirement to understand if it works properly.
Ability to work on steep slopes and winch assist equipment
Past experience working on Forestry Equipment
Able to work in all weather conditions
Able to work standing for long periods of time
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be able work in a safe manor with Forestry equipment

Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Skilled Labourer to join our valued client’s team on a pipeline logging and clearing project near Dawson Creek, BC. This is a temporary position lasting approximately three to four weeks, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety.
Responsibilities:
Support right-of-way logging and clearing activities.
Assist with general labour duties to support pipeline construction.
Operate in compliance with all safety procedures and site requirements.
Maintain a strong work ethic and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Qualifications:
H2S Alive certification (required).
CSTS certification (required).
Standard First Aid certification (required).
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous pipeline or forestry labour experience.
Familiarity with logging equipment and right-of-way clearing practices.
Work Environment:
Outdoor work in a remote, physically demanding environment.
Exposure to varying weather conditions and heavy equipment operations.
Extended workdays (12 hours) with rotational scheduling.
Benefits:
Competitive hourly wage of $8.

Temporary project duration of three to four weeks with structured scheduling.
