Account Manager
to lead our clients in British Columbia and the Prairies. This hybrid position, based out of our Vancouver office, requires regular in-office appearances and client meetings.

About the job

The Account Manager will lead projects across the West and Prairies. You will work with experienced project teams and suppliers to ensure all communication and advertising plans are implemented on time, on budget, and on brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and addressing concerns.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, clearly communicating goals, feedback, and updates.
  • Proactively address and resolve project challenges, maintaining professionalism and delivering creative solutions.
  • Plan, execute, and deliver client projects on time and within budget, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Develop strategies and creative briefs in collaboration with clients and internal teams, ensuring campaigns align with communication goals.
  • Manage client budgets and track expenses, while addressing billing questions as needed.
  • Review creative outputs to ensure they meet client expectations, brand guidelines, and quality standards, providing constructive feedback to teams.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports, including post-campaign reviews highlighting successes and learnings.
  • Lead internal team meetings and coordinate with external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and provide actionable recommendations for optimization and future planning.
  • May be asked to identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and participate in new business pitches.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of project management experience in an agency setting.
  • Familiarity with marketing, advertising, and media strategies, as well as an understanding of campaign performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations, reports, and collaboration with teams.
  • Experience working with production suppliers and ensuring all external teams are briefed accordingly so deliverables are produced on spec, on schedule, and on budget
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide creative solutions to challenges.
  • Passion for progressive causes and commitment to supporting our clients' missions.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
  • Proficient in tools like project management software, CRM platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Experience managing budgets and tracking expenses.

Preference:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, political science or related field.
  • Knowledge of the political landscape in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan is a huge plus.
  • Knowledge/experience with email and social media marketing.
  • Knowledge/experience with planning and executing complex province-wide media plans.

A leading player in the construction and industrial solutions sector is seeking an experienced and motivated Account Manager to join their dynamic Regional Sales team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing the full sales process while promoting innovative product solutions and delivering exceptional service.

Sales & Business Development

  • Grow sales, market share, and revenue within both existing accounts and new business opportunities
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer Requests for Quotations (RFQs)
  • Develop and maintain key customer plans in coordination with the Sales Management team
  • Identify and explore new market segments and product applications to expand the client base
Client Relationship Management
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service Representatives to follow up on leads
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Deliver high-quality technical presentations to a range of clients and stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience
  • 3-5 years of progressive sales experience in the construction or industrial sectors
  • Post-secondary education in business, science, or engineering is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with civil, architectural, or environmental design and geosynthetic applications
