OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Director of Client Delivery, the Technical Solutions Associate assists with technical implementation activities, gathers and organizes technical requirements, and supports ongoing client configuration and integration needs. WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Project & Task Coordination
- Assist in managing project timelines by following up on outstanding technical tasks and configuration requirements.
- Support weekly implementation or IT calls by preparing documentation and tracking action items.
- Help maintain accurate project and configuration documentation.
2. Client Success & Support
- Participate in technical discovery sessions with clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with client IT contacts and third-party vendors to collect data and configuration requirements.
- Provide first-level support for configuration changes and data feed implementations.
3. Solution Support & Documentation
- Assist with basic configuration of the platform and validate data integrity during import processes.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Client Success team to ensure client requests are executed to meet the client requirements.

- Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders to align project timelines and technical deliverables.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases by documenting repeatable tasks and client FAQs.
- Participate in post-implementation reviews and assist in identifying process enhancements.

The Regional Manager, Technical Solutions and Support will provide remote and onsite technical software support for Circle Cardiovascular Imagings products to Circle customers globally with a primary responsibility for North and South America. Compensation Information
The new hire base pay for this role has a pay range of $108,000 to $150,000.
Arista offers different pay ranges based on work location, so that we can offer consistent and competitive pay appropriate to the market. The actual base pay offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and work location.
The pay range provided reflects base pay only and in addition certain roles may also be eligible for discretionary Arista bonuses and equity. Territory/Location Information:
- This position is supporting Calgary, AB and a surrounding territory of approximately a 300KM radius
- The successful candidate can be based in Calgary, Red Deer or Lethbridge
- Targeted accounts are within Food & Beverage Manufacturing, Light Manufacturing and Institutional clients
- 2 - 4 nights/month of overnight travel will be required

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled, energetic, and self-starting Mechanical Building Systems Technologist or Estimator to join our clients team within construction technology. The ideal candidate will have experience reading MEP drawings and a solid working knowledge of mechanical building systems, including plumbing for domestic water, hydronics, and fire protection systems. This role will focus on reviewing and analyzing drawings in preconstruction to determine optimal locations for IoT-enabled device installations, creating technical project plans for various project types such as high-rise residential, multi-family, data centers, and hospitals.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Review MEP and architectural drawings, blueprints, and schematics to identify and mark up suitable locations for integrating IoT-enabled devices in mechanical building systems.
- Develop detailed technical proposals outlining the scope of risk controls and IoT device deployment during construction, including specifications, installation methods, and timelines.
- Create comprehensive installation plans that ensure alignment with project objectives, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external project teams in communicating project details to clients and stakeholders.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

General Dynamics Mission Systems-Canada is looking for an experienced Quality Engineering (QE) Specialist to join our Quality team in Ottawa. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the QE Specialist plays a key role within integrated project teams, ensuring compliance with internal processes and external standards including AS9100 and DO-178C. This position supports both engineering development and product lifecycle activities, with a strong emphasis on software airworthiness, quality compliance, and audit leadership.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-contract quality support, including estimating the effort required to implement Quality Assurance (QA) activities and contributing to proposal documentation.
- Prepare and implement project-specific QA plans and contribute quality-related inputs to broader project documentation.
- Act as the quality lead for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with AS9100, DO-178C, and other relevant contractual or airworthiness standards.
- Interface with the DND TAA (within DTAES), DERs, and customer quality representatives during software airworthiness audits (e.g., SOIs).
- Conduct independent process and product audits, identify non-conformances, issue corrective actions, and track them to closure.
- Serve on Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and Material Review Boards (MRB); support design reviews and configuration audits.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Product Support to ensure quality considerations are embedded across all phases of development, sustainment, and supply chain interactions.
- Monitor formal test activities (e.g., acceptance, qualification) for adherence to approved test plans and procedures; ensure evidence supports certification and compliance.
- Lead and participate in project and quality review meetings, including setting agendas, facilitating discussions, documenting actions, and ensuring follow-up.
- Lead quality-related reviews, investigations, and root cause analyses, and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
- Use data and statistical analysis to monitor quality performance, identify trends, and support corrective/preventive action planning.
- Report quality metrics and present findings during quality forums, project gates, and leadership reviews.
- Engage in proactive risk identification, mitigation planning, and knowledge sharing throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in engineering or software development, with at least 6 years in a quality assurance role.
- Strong working knowledge of DO-178C, AS9100, and airworthiness certification processes.
- A sound understanding of current engineering development / tools methodologies and standards.
- Proven ability to conduct internal audits, lead investigations, and lead cross-functional teams to resolution.
- Experience supporting software and systems development within a regulated aerospace or defense environment.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills; ability to influence across functions and levels.
- Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

- Membership in a professional quality body (e.g. ASQ).
- Experience interfacing with government/defense QA authorities.
