What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems to support our advertising and retail media platform.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices that handle high-volume, low-latency traffic .
• Collaborate with frontend developers, ML engineers, product managers, and analytics teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation , including API specifications and system architecture diagrams.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Expertise

• 5+ years of professional Java backend development experience with strong proficiency in Java 8+ features.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Spring Boot ecosystem, including:
• Spring Web MVC for RESTful API development.
• Spring Data JPA / Hibernate for data persistence.
• Spring Security for authentication and authorization.
• Spring Boot Actuator for monitoring and health checks.
• Exposure to Spring Cloud components (Gateway, Config Server, Service Discovery).
• Proven experience designing and developing scalable RESTful APIs and distributed microservices .
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins , or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure also acceptable).
• Experience with caching (e.g., Redis) and asynchronous messaging systems .
• Understanding of API security best practices , including OWASP guidelines .

Preferred Skills

• AdTech domain knowledge : experience with programmatic advertising, real-time bidding, or high-throughput ad-serving systems.

• Experience working with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, BigTable).
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and event sourcing patterns .

Principal responsibilities

• We are looking for an experienced full stack developer, who will join our delivery team supporting development and maintenance of the Fixed Income Regulatory application – IRIS.

• A successful candidate must have strong knowledge and skills in front-end, backend coding and tooling area in order to support various requirements coming from our business partners

• We expect this person will play one of the key roles in the delivery team - not only when it comes to code development but also in technical consultancy, code reviews, troubleshooting, mentoring other developers and helping Global Business

• Working on code development for new requirements and on fixing existing bugs/defects according to agreed standards and best practices

• To contribute to requirements gathering and delivery planning in order to meet our business partners’ needs in both quality and on-time delivery aspect

• Consulting closely with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and requirements, developing user stories in association with product owners, Business Analysts and lead technical solutions.

• Working with development team to map requirements to delivery schedules and pipelines, working with testing team to ensure appropriate test cases are executed against requirements.

• Identifying potential issues, reviewing solutions, and recommending strategies for solving problems.
