Overview
The Financial Services Advisor will support and eventually manage a book of business, serving as the primary point of contact for individual clients. In this role, you will triage and handle client requests or direct them to the appropriate team members for solutions, tools, and guidance. This position emphasizes delivering exceptional client service, managing relationships, and supporting financial planning and marketing initiatives.
How you'll make an impact
- Develop systems to enhance client retention and maintain CRM records with updated client information and interactions. Proactively address client concerns, build strong rapport, and uphold the company’s professional image.
- Identify sales opportunities within and outside the client base. Prepare materials for client meetings, create financial plans, and support pre- and post-meeting tasks.
- Process account setups, trades, and transfers in investment services, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
- Manage applications, underwriting, compliance, and client communication for insurance services throughout the process.
- Gather and analyze client data to identify goals, opportunities, and solutions. Prepare and present financial plans while managing a portion of the client portfolio. Offer tailored insurance and health solutions while maintaining high service standards.
- Perform administrative tasks, including organizing client contact lists, scheduling meetings, and managing filing systems.
- Stay updated on tools and technologies to improve efficiency and integrate resources effectively.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in risk management/insurance, finance, actuarial studies, commerce, or business.
- 2+ years of experience in the financial services or insurance field (corporate, broker/consulting, or banking).
- Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) certification required.
- Ability to travel 20%–40% of the time.

Overview
Sales & Commissions FP&A role with Branch Office P&L management for the Canadian branches. The role reports to the National GBS Finance Director – Canada and serves as a primary interface between Finance and the Canadians branch leaders with a focus on providing insightful analysis on financial and operational performance of the business, making recommendations and providing support in implementation of said recommendations.
As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will manage relationships and directly support the Area Presidents in strategic decisions, with the aim to positively influence the growth of the business.
How you'll make an impact
- Month End Process and Analysis P&L monitoring during close to identify and coordinate close issues that need to be resolved before close ends
- Understand your variances vs. budget/forecast Conduct month end commentary/summarize the story to stakeholders: ensure commentary is a key point of discussion
- Forecast/Budget Process & Analysis Owns overall forecast and budget processes, but coordinate needed inputs that are owned by revenue/comp/reporting team Understand your variance drivers from budget and PY
- Forecast commentary/Summarize the story to stakeholders: ensure commentary is a key point of discussion Conduct Revenue Gap analysis (assessing reasonability of the outgoing revenue forecast; quantifying potential gaps in the forecast that need to be addressed and partnered with revenue team to help resolve).
- Include assessment on future sales (pipeline adequacy) and develop similar metrics/indicators on future renewal changes and lost projections to assess reasonability
- Conduct Risks & Opportunities tracking (across full P&L); work with businesses to mitigate the risks and realize the opportunities
- Building Financial Acumen and Awareness in the Business Lead executive level reviews and discussions with Area Presidents and Regional Presidents on results/forecasts/budgets to build their financial acumen and help them to “own and know” their numbers
