**The Opportunity!**
As a **Placement Broker** , you will provide support to our Commercial Lines team in marketing a wide variety of risks throughout our Alberta region. By providing support on commercial placements, you will maintain direct contact with insurance companies and our HUB offices to ensure top, competitive terms and risk solutions are provided for new and renewal business.
**A day in the life -**
+ Provide marketing support for all types of commercial placements within the Alberta region including large and mid-market new business.
+ Engage with Producers and the Chief Sales Officer to provide marketing support for HUB Top 200 and other Stewardship accounts as required.
+ Support Producers with market and coverage availability and interpretation of wordings.
+ Collaborate with Producers, the Chief Sales Officer and Chief Marketing Officer to develop and implement niche markets and programs.
+ Fully understand our existing programs and products.
+ Be proficient with wordings and the subtle differences between markets.
+ Assist with coaching new Producers and Assistants on various commercial products and topics.
+ Maintain effective communication with our key carriers and help to coordinate insurer visits and training as required.
+ Regularly engage with HUB branches and Producers to exchange ideas with commercial team members, build relationships and encourage the use of the Marketing department.
+ Actively participate in commercial lines meetings as required.
+ Attend and participate in company meetings and events as required, including occasional off-site.
**What You Bring To The Team -**
+ Minimum 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience and knowledgeable insurance professional; commercial lines underwriting experience is an asset.
+ Level 2 General Insurance License.
+ Ready to work hard and crush goals.

Our mortgage agents secure the best rates for Canadian homeowners and homebuyers using our network of Prime, Alternative and Private lenders. We are an established brokerage looking to expand!

Please note:

  • New agents will receive a salary during probation while being mentored by an experienced broker team.
  • This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position in downtown Vancouver.


What you'll be doing:

  • Receiving and processing inbound mortgage inquiries/applications
  • Calling clients, collecting documents and helping them through the mortgage process
  • Underwriting and placing applications with Prime, Alternative and Private lenders
  • Organizing files, documents and preparing contracts
  • Liaising with lenders, lawyers


Applicants must have:

  • Sales Experienceand track record of success, ideally including remote
  • Technologicalproficiency and eagerness to learn new systems
  • Patienceto work with clients over a long sales cycle
  • Licenseto offer mortgages in BC (BCFSA), Ontario (FSRAO) or Alberta (RECA)

Aaxel Insurance Brokers is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Commissioned RIBO Licensed Insurance Broker . This 100% commission-based hybrid position allows you to work both remotely and in our Mississauga office, ensuring you have the flexibility and work-life balance you need. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process insurance policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

  • Advise clients on coverage options tailored to their specific needs, providing expert guidance and solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication and customer service skills.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to provide clients with the best advice.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of automobile, property, and other insurance products.

  • Proven experience in processing and managing insurance policies.

  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in managing tasks.

  • Ability to interpret and analyze insurance policies and regulations effectively.

  • RIBO (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) license is a must.

  • Experience using insurance software systems for efficient policy management.

  • If you are newly RIBO licensed, a minimum of one year in sales or customer service is preferred.
