Our client, a leading law firm with a strong reputation in business law, litigation, and dispute resolution, is seeking a full-time Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their Vancouver team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from both the purchaser and vendor sides, from start to finish.
- Review mortgage and security documents; prepare security documents as required.
- Conduct due diligence and Land Title Office searches and registrations.
- Draft and review Land Title documents; arrange for filing with the appropriate registries.
- Prepare documentation including mortgages, trust letters, statements of adjustments, and related correspondence.
- Request and disburse funds; prepare final reporting letters for clients.
- Paralegal certificate or diploma from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial real estate transactions.
- Exceptional grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume workload, work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Professional and effective communication skills when interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
- Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., iManage) and accounting software (e.g., 3E) is an asset.
- Competitive annual salary between 75,000 and 90,000.
