As a CBRE Building Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, building systems, and equipment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Reviews and completes daily entries into engineer's log; investigates any issues
+ Completes preventative/demand maintenance tasks and input histories into Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as needed; report required changes to supervisor
+ Starts-up/shutdowns building infrastructure equipment
+ Ensures maximum energy efficiency, inspects/operates/maintains and repairs mechanical/electrical systems and equipment (including boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, pumps, generators, life safety system, etc.)
+ Performs repairs such as: replace washers/faucets, clear sinks, toilets and drains, clear grease traps/sumps, re-pack valves, replace pumps/motors, reset breakers, repair pipe systems, etc.
+ Maintains fan/air handling units which may include greasing of bearings, replacement of filters, belt inspections and replacements
+ Conducts water treatment tests
+ Conducts generator tests
+ Troubleshoots/repairs all building infrastructure equipment
+ Escalates unusual events, occurrences or unsafe conditions to supervisor
+ Responds to tenant requests and emergencies
+ Oversees work of contractors/external service providers to ensure adherence to contract specifics and company/industry standards
+ Participates in meetings as required
+ Pump teardown/minor repairs/alignment
+ Perform general building maintenance/repairs (i.e., painting, drywall, grounds maintenance)
+ Assist other classifications/trades as required

**What you'll need**
+ OSSGD or equivalent
+ BES I Certificate; or 4th class Operating Engineer; or provincial trades certification of qualification is an asset
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of facilities
+ Proven computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook)

Department : Sttimc Outreach Health Services (SOHS)
Reports to: SOHS Health Administrator
Term: Fulltime permanent position, some flexible hours
The SOHS Community Engagement Coordinator (CEC) is responsible for the communication, collaboration and planning of Nation health services between the SOHS, the northern Sttimc communities, and the various external entities responsible for the design and delivery of health services in the province of British Columbia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with the SOHS Health Administrator, northern St't'imc (NS) Health Directors/ Managers, and Sttimc Health Representatives towards implementing the Northern Sttimc Health Plan.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships and communication between the northern Statimc leadership and communities, First Nations Health Authority, First Nations Health Council, First Nation Health Directors Association, Interior Health, government representatives, and partners.
Support the collaboration between northern Sttimc and health partners regarding health services and health issues through the northern Sttimc Health Assembly, Interior Region Caucus and other relevant meetings.
Coordinate regular NS Health Advisory Committee meetings supporting communities as they identify their community health needs and health priorities.
Develop and monitor the annual budget and reports ensuring expenditures are in accordance with the contribution agreement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree/diploma with specialization in Health Sciences, Education, Communications, or Social Services or a related field.
Relevant, recent and significant experience in the provision of coordination support to Indigenous communities (usually acquired over a 35-year period).
Experience working with indigenous people at a community and/or political level including community engagement and community organizational development.
Experience with developing protocols and partnership agreements.
Excellent understanding of health-related issues affecting Indigenous peoples (particularly those of the NS communities) as well as an understanding of health delivery in BC and Canada.
SALARY: 60,000.00 - 64,000.00 Annual Salary Plus Benefits

documentation and follow-ups. - Collaborate with counselling team to identify job seekers attributes/skills to develop strategies to increase employability.

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours a week. Compensation and Benefits:

The Manager of Indigenous and Community Engagement is responsible for enhancing, championing, and executing Indigenous Relations on behalf of GE Vernova Canada. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a national Indigenous Relations strategy that would reflect GEV Canada's commitment to reconciliation and long-term partnerships with Indigenous communities, internal stakeholders, and external partners. Reporting to the Canadian Country Leader of GE Vernova Hitachi, the Manager, Indigenous and Community Engagement will champion Indigenous perspectives and strategy development, ensuring integration within GEV Canadian business units.
**Job Description**
**Essential** **Responsibilities**
+ Work in collaboration with internal and external partners to lead all Indigenous engagement initiatives and opportunities for GEV in Canada, including, but not limited to talent and retention, training, development and education, community engagement and business development.
+ Work collaboratively with the GE Vernova businesses to lead the development and execution of an Indigenous engagement strategy.
+ Develop and oversee the execution of Indigenous Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
+ Support other key organizational initiatives, including development of relevant policies and practices.
+ Document all Canadian community engagement activities and initiatives as required by GEV business leaders across business units.
+ In collaboration with GEV Global DEI team, design and deliver internal Indigenous awareness training and education programs for all employees.
+ Work collaboratively with GEV businesses and community leaders to identify shared goals and support transparent and open communication channels.
+ Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote GE Vernova Canada's commitment to Indigenous relations.
+ Represent GE Vernova Canada at relevant industry events, conferences, and community gatherings, maintaining positive relations.
+ Establish and maintain project schedules as required.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Post Graduate degree in Indigenous Studies, business, social sciences, or a similar field.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in Indigenous relations, reconciliation, environment, or equivalent.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in the following areas:
+ Working with Indigenous groups to provide employment and training opportunities
+ Proven skills in establishing and maintaining productive and collaborative working relationships with Indigenous groups within Canada
+ Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian Indigenous and First Nation history, culture, and forms of governance.
**Eligibility Requirements:**
+ Valid G Driver's license.
+ Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time within Canada.
+ Flexibility to work weekends to support Indigenous community events.

Position Summary

Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team to identify job seekers attributes/skills, and develop strategies to increase employability and meet client employment goals
- Foster relationships with employers to identify recruitment needs and develop strategies to address them
- Actively participate in employer-hosted recruitment and community events to foster partnerships
- Provide on-going support and feedback to employers to ensure on-going success with placements, training or contracts, contributing to long-term employer engagement
- Familiarity with labour market trends, and able to research/share labour market information
- Research and identify both public and non-public job openings and share these opportunities with the team
- Support job seekers during the recruitment process including coaching for specific job opportunities and when appropriate, offer in-person support during job interviews
- Provide support with workplace accommodation requirements, inquiries and needs
- Adhere to program eligibility guidelines and ensure accurate and timely completion of all related documentation and follow-ups
- Create and maintain a database comprised of employer/recruiter contact information

Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, such as recruiting, sales, or community outreach.
- Strong marketing, customer service, and networking skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or those facing complex barriers to employment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong team player, capable of taking responsibility and collaborating to achieve organizational goals.
- Familiarity with community social services networks, including knowledge of Ontario Social Assistance and related support programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel) and strong research abilities using internet search tools.
- Experience with databases; familiarity with CAMS is considered an asset.
- Client-focused, with the ability to motivate and encourage others through strong interpersonal communication.
- Effective problem-solving, and negotiation skills with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
