Lead Hand - 7 years experience required
- Accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping lumber, wood, and other building materials.
- Attaching building materials using screws, nuts, and bolts.
- Erecting temporary structures such as scaffolds and hoists.
- Performing repairs on existing framework structures that are damaged or structurally unsound.
- Analyzing blueprints and drawings to determine the structural dimensions of the framework to be constructed.
- Analyzing construction plans to identify potential structural problems.
- Examining building materials to identify any defects.
- Performing cleanups of job sites by clearing away all carpentry debris and waste.
- Constructing wooden concrete forms to aid the construction team in erecting various concrete structures.
- Joining drywall panels using tape and plaster.
- Repairing cracks and any other damage to the drywall panels.
- Concealing any imperfections or exposed irregularities in the drywall surface.
- Layering plaster or spackle with trowels to create a flat surface.
- Sanding down rough areas on the wall to create a smooth surface.
- Skimming the surface with a final layer of plaster in preparation for finishing work.
- Managing and maintaining all the required equipment for the job.
- Keeping your supervisor abreast of your progress and reporting any job-related issues.
- Ensuring that all equipment and materials are used safely and effectively.
- Perform finish and trim carpentry work according to plans and specifications
- Measure, cut, and install various fixtures and millwork for doors, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, decking, furniture, etc.
- Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed
- Collaborate with other carpenters, journeymen, and supervisors to complete projects
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with building components and equipment
- Preparing sites for construction and keeping them safe
- Operating heavy machinery and equipment
- Loading, unloading, and assembling materials and tools
We are looking for a qualified construction worker who can help us complete a variety of construction projects in an efficient, effective, and safe manner. They must be able to perform various on-site tasks, and make sure every construction site is perfectly safe.
A good job candidate must be able to perform strenuous physical tasks, such as loading and unloading of various building materials and tools, and operating heavy machinery and equipment. They also need to work great in a team, and follow all the instructions and construction plans.
Responsibilities of a Construction Worker:- Properly preparing sites for safe construction
- Regulating traffic around construction sites
- Removing any debris from construction sites
- Loading and unloading building materials and tools
- Assembling tools and equipment
- Assembling scaffolding and other temporary structures

- Experience in construction or similar field
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus
- A valid license for working with hazardous materials

- Willingness to learn and get additional training if necessary

You will be responsible for supporting site operations, working with tools and materials, and assisting tradespeople as needed. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, adheres to safety protocols, and brings 2–3 years of proven experience in construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, loading, digging, and site preparation
- Operate construction tools and basic equipment safely and effectively
- Assist skilled trades people and follow the supervisor's instructions on-site
- Erect and dismantle temporary structures, fencing, or scaffolding
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety on the job site
- Report hazards, equipment issues, or incidents promptly
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction or general labor
- Strong understanding of job site safety and use of PPE
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs, bending, and standing for long periods
