Construction/Municipal Survey Crew Chief Regina, SK
who, ideally, has experience in the both Construction and Municipal Survey sectors and has the desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.
The Work:
- Legal surveys of subdivisions, condominiums, development permit applications, and real property reports
- Construction survey layout of building foundations
- Survey facilities, layouts, piles, and grading
- Willing and able to travel out of town when the need arises
- Work is outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
- Follow safety protocol
- Provide guidance and mentorship to survey assistants
- Prepare clear, concise, and accurate field notes, records, and calculations
What you bring to the table:

- A degree/diploma from a technical college in Geomatics

Nova Paving (Sask) Ltd. is a well-established heavy civil construction company based in Regina, Saskatchewan. We are looking for hard-working, highly motivated individuals for the role of a Construction Labourer . Reporting to the Site Foreman and Project Management Team, this position is responsible for performing a large variety of construction related tasks involving strenuous manual labour in a safe and appropriate manner consistent with company values, policies and procedures. The position runs annually from April to December and we are hiring now for the upcoming the 2025 season!
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License & reliable transportation.
- Must be reliable, punctual and possess a positive attitude.
- Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.
- Able to work as a team and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers, ensuring all tasks are being completed in a safe and timely manner.
- Must be able to lift/move items weighing up to 23kg (50lbs).
- Experience working on water mains, driveways, sidewalks/curbs, and road/bridges will be considered an asset.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly inspect tools and equipment daily.
- Load/unload construction materials.
- Mix/pour/spread various materials.
- Assist heavy equipment operators.
- Pave and rake asphalt.
- Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all rules and regulations set forward by foremen.
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
- Other various construction related tasks as instructed.

ATS Traffic is looking for an Construction Labourer Lead (Installation Lead) to join our team! This position will be primarily responsible for installation of traffic and construction safety products as signs, posts, parking curbs, speed bumps, solar beacons, crash systems and guardrails. *Note: This role must travel for out of town for projects throughout Saskatchewan with all costs of the travel paid for by the company, plus per diem benefits.
The Installer role is fundamental to the success of ATS Traffic and our customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities- Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and train installation crews to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Delegate tasks efficiently and monitor team performance.
- Foster a positive and safety-conscious work environment.
- Project Planning & Execution
- Review work orders and site plans to coordinate daily job activities.
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and ensure timely project completion.
- Ensure all installations meet regulatory and company standards.
- Safety & Compliance
- Enforce workplace safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Conduct site inspections and safety meetings.
- Maintain compliance with road safety laws and industry best practices.
- Customer & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project managers.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and address customer concerns.
- Inventory & Equipment Management
- Track material usage and ensure proper inventory levels.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure all tools are in good working condition.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Complete daily reports, time sheets, and project documentation.
- Record job site conditions, project challenges, and safety compliance
- 1-2 years in the construction industry is required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a Lead Hand / Supervisory role is required.
- A valid Class 3A or better Driver’s License and a Clean 3-Year Regular Drivers Abstract is required to drive our company vehicles.
- Own method of transportation to get to and from work is preferred.
- As this is a safety-sensitive role, all candidates must undergo and pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test. Note: All safety-sensitive positions have a zero tolerance policy marijuana, medical or recreational .
- Ability to successfully pass a Fit Test including lifting between 50 and 75 pounds.
- Experience in either Traffic Control or Construction industries is an asset, however ATS covers the cost and provides ALL training and tickets to get you started!
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): All you need to bring is a pair of CSA Approved Safety Boots on your first day - we will cover the rest.
This position may be required to work overtime including evenings, weekends and out of town work.
