**Job Description:**
UPS Delivery Drivers deliver and pick up packages from residential and/or commercial properties. This role involves driving and the continual lifting, lowering, and carrying of packages in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. Drivers follow safe transportation methods while traveling to and from destinations, ensuring the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.

**Workdays:** Tuesday to Saturday
**Shift Start:** Tuesday 9:30AM & Saturday 9:15AM **(Flexibility with Start and Finish times required)**
**Shift Duration:** 8-10 hours per day
**KEY** **RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently and effectively
+ Learn and properly execute UPS safe and defensive driving methods
+ Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required
+ Record, track, and maintain information about delivered packages
+ Comply with UPS appearance guidelines by wearing the company provided vest and uniform
**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs.
+ Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
+ Strong customer service skills
+ Proficiency in navigating and finding locations using maps, GPS devices, and map books
+ Available to work Tuesday through Saturday with flexibility to work occasional Mondays
+ Valid Ontario G Driver's License
+ Clean Driver's Abstract showing:a) No violations for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)b) No accidents and maximum 5 demerit points for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)
**COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:**
+ **HOURLY WAGE: $20.00/hourly** (Guaranteed wage progression through Union Collective Agreement to $2.33 per hour after 48 months of service)

DELIVERY DRIVER/SANITATION SUPPORT
Impact Kitchen is growing and we are looking for a team player to fill the position of full-time Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of goods from Impact Kitchen’s central Commissary Kitchen to Impact Kitchen restaurants located in Toronto. Part of the job requirements include reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading the delivery vehicle and providing exceptional customer service to our restaurant teammates. In addition to daily deliveries, this position will also support the Commissary Kitchen with sanitation tasks .

COMPENSATION

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Receiving and storage of deliveries as related to the commissary kitchen
- Loading, unloading, delivery of commissary & catering food items as per schedule
- Effective storage, management, and safe rotation (FIFO) of all products
- Cleaning, sanitation and maintenance of kitchen equipment, food production spaces, delivery vehicle and delivery areas
- Preparation, production and execution of menu items and food quality standards according to detailed recipes and instructions
- Strict adherence to company, municipal and provincial guidelines as they are related to food safety and safe workplace environments
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 1 year of kitchen experience with a general understanding of cooking fundamentals and practices
- G driver license (min 3 years) with clean driving record
- Knowledge of municipal traffic laws, regulations and safe driving practices
