We are looking for a temporary Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruitment managing a robust portfolio that supports various business areas. You will leverage your exceptional recruitment experience in a unionized environment to support hiring managers in developing a recruitment strategy that supports talent sourcing initiatives, assessments, and selection.

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, You Will
- Source, passive search, network and build pipelines, attract and select of the best available talent while providing an outstanding candidate experience
- Facilitate and lead the full cycle recruitment process for the business, working with hiring managers and People & Culture partners
- Apply your expertise to ensure an efficient, transparent, effective, and fair recruitment process working within policy and collective agreement language
- Use consistent practices and fair processes that instill confidence and deliver excellent service levels
- Work on high-volume recruits including pre-posting placement processes
- Fulfill the administrative tasks associated with full cycle recruiting
- Consistently model the appropriate level of organizational behaviors expected of all WorkSafeBC employees: responsive, respectful, fair, collaborative, accountable, and forward thinking.

Your Experience And Educational Background
A bachelor's degree in human resources, communications, marketing, or a related discipline
- A minimum of three years of full cycle recruiting experience within a large, complex organization
- Experience recruiting in a unionized environment is a strong asset
- Experience managing a large portfolio, multiple strategic searches, and client relationships
- Proficiency working with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and various reporting tools.
- CPHR designation (or working towards completion) is preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a substantial and diverse portfolio of roles across North America, contributing to the achievement of company-wide hiring goals and talent objectives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop relationships with hiring managers and conduct recruitment intake meetings to gain a thorough understanding of hiring needs
- Act as a Talent Acquisition subject matter expert and trusted advisor to the business

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Talent Sourcing and Recruitment:
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract skilled multi-disciplinary candidates for roles across various departments.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, and industry-specific events, to generate a diverse pool of candidates.

- Work with Communications team to enhance the company’s online presence and boost Skeena’s reputation as an employer of choice within the mining industry.
Internal and External Collaboration:

- Identify, create and maintain relationships with external communities and agencies that will be mutually beneficial and promote Skeena’s recruitment activities.

The Ideal Candidate
Education / Qualifications:

- Experience recruiting for mining/heavy industry roles and the ability to quickly understand job requirements.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint and HRIS systems. Experience with UKG is advantageous but not essential.

Work Location & Conditions
This is an office-based job, in Skeena’s Corporate office located in Vancouver, British Columbia on a Monday to Friday schedule. Additionally, the job is in a fast paced, and at times stressful working environment, with having to manage multiple competing priorities. Some flexibility in work location may be considered.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is CA$85,000 - CA$100,000, in line with the competitive job market for such roles carried out in British Columbia. Salary ranges are guidelines, and any job offer received by a candidate will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant education, training, and/or experience.

Our client is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist / Crypto Recruiter to partner with one of our high-growth clients in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space . This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead recruitment across technical and non-technical functions, shaping how the client builds their team and brand in Web3.
What you will achieve in this role
- Own the full recruitment cycle : sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, team needs, and priorities.
- Source across crypto-native networks – GitHub, Discord, Telegram, Twitter (X), DeFi communities, hackathons.
- Recruit for both hard-to-fill technical roles (blockchain engineers, smart contract developers, cryptographers) and business-critical functions (product, compliance, marketing, operations).
- Provide market intelligence : salary benchmarks, competitor insights, and emerging skill trends.
- Ensure a seamless candidate experience that reflects the client’s culture and mission.
- Keep ATS pipelines healthy, track KPIs, and share recruiting metrics with leadership.
- Represent the client’s employer brand at crypto events and online communities.
- What you must bring to this role
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting, including 2+ years in crypto / blockchain / fintech .
- A proven ability to recruit technical and non-technical talent at scale.
- Strong sourcing skills, with fluency in crypto community platforms and non-traditional recruiting channels.
- Skilled negotiator who understands token / equity packages and cross-border contractor models.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Data-driven mindset, able to forecast hiring timelines and optimize funnel performance.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, global environment .
