Summary
Tarkett is seeking a hands-on EHS Manager to help develop, establish, and maintain an environmental health and safety program that strives to meet or exceed all regulatory requirements, and provides for a safe work environment that is free of hazards in pursuit of zero work-related injuries / illnesses, using a behavioral based approach. Responsibilities
- Act as the primary EHS support for the site, responsible for all aspects and EHS reporting
- Act as the primary voice for safety and environmental support for the site
- Assists with all aspects of the Environmental Health and Safety program.
- Ensure compliance to all Safe Work Practices (SWP), regulatory standards (CNESST, code du batiment ) and plant policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Safety, Industrial Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or related discipline desired.

Environmental Project Manager Position
The BC based Environmental Project Manager position is an opportunity to join a growing team of professionals passionate about the SYLVIS mission to Make Waste History through sustainable residuals management. - Conduct research, site visits, data interpretation and report writing as part of Phase I environmental site assessments;
- Plan sampling campaigns and coordinate all stages of environmental characterization projects - phase II;
- Supervise the activities of site personnel as well as those of subcontractors;

Job Description
- Conduct research, site visits, data interpretation and report writing as part of Phase I environmental site assessments;
- Plan sampling campaigns and coordinate all stages of environmental characterization projects - phase II;
- Supervise the activities of site personnel as well as those of subcontractors;
- Evaluate applicable, economical and innovative intervention options in order to develop contaminated site rehabilitation programs.
- Carry out site visits to ensure quality of execution;
- Plan and control budgets and schedules;
- Communicate with clients and other stakeholders related to the project;
