The full time sales consultant position we are looking to fill will be the primary face figure and first point of contact for new clients wishing to retain our services.
Summary
Pynx Pro is a full-service audio visual and event production company based in Brantford, Ontario. We specialize in creating immersive and engaging live and virtual experiences for events of all sizes. Our ideal candidate must be flexible with a variety of technical knowledge in order to be successful. You will be working from our head office in Brantford Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
Role and Responsibilities
- Building long lasting and positive client relationships
- Being a patient and effective listener
- Handle incoming audio visual related inquiries
- Develop own client base through outreach as required via cold calling and other methods
- Organize and attend regional trade shows as necessary
- Set appointments with event organizers, listen with intent to client needs and develop technical solutions to bring their vision to life
- Work with sub rental suppliers to ensure all gaps are filled during the sales phase
- Delivering prepared event folders (post contract) to the event planning team in an organized manner so that they may see the event through to execution without any missing details
Qualifications
- Front line experience in the audio visual industry, 3 years minimum required
- Problem-solving, salesmanship and effective communication required
- Results oriented, self-motivated, and a team player
- Strong communication skills, outgoing and go-getter attitude
- Class G Licence

5. Documentation:

- Previous experience in the installation and maintenance of illuminated signs is an asset.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards.
- Ability to work at heights and use lifting equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license.
Desired Skills:
- Attention to detail and ability to solve technical problems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours if necessary.
- Drivers license class 3 would be an asset
