What Will You Be Doing?

Strategic Financial Management

• Monitor and analyze portfolio company performance to drive strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, (CPA or CFA is an asset).
• 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A (Big 4 or consulting firm experience is a plus).
• Prior exposure to M&A, financial integrations is an asset.
• Strong understanding of different ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and business technologies.

We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our finance team and play a critical role in managing the month-end process, financial consolidation and forecasting across multiple entities and currencies. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all accounting and financial reporting activities are completed on an accurate and timely basis. 
• Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements and financial projections. 
• Provide oversight and support to the accounting team. 
• Ensure strong internal controls, risk management, and financial governance 
• Spearhead process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and data accuracy. 
• Perform financial consolidation, ensuring accurate elimination of intercompany transactions and reconciliation of consolidated financial statements. Excel based, transitioning to NetSuite ERP. 
• Prepare and maintain the monthly Forecast model by incorporating actuals, projections for revenues, cost of sales, commissions and operating expenses. Review any variances in the projections. 
• Monitor operating costs, identify areas for cost efficiency, and implement innovative solutions to improve financial performance. 
• Lead the NetSuite ERP implementation and data migration processes. 
• Ensure efficient functioning and documentation for all financial systems including receipts, disbursements, billing, bookkeeping, and accounting. 
• Ensure transfer pricing model is compliant with local and international tax laws. 
• Provide input on critical problems and participate in decisions affecting the organizations projects. 

• CPA designation or equivalent with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
• Experience with multi-currency accounting.
• Experience with Sage 50, QuickBooks Online and NetSuite ERP (an asset).
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

About the Role

As a Software Developer at Nakisa, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable, cloud-native Java applications. ? Votre profil

• Diplôme universitaire en informatique ou gestion, ou expérience jugée équivalente.
• 3-5 ans d'expérience dans un poste similaire.
• Minimum de cinq ans d’expérience en analyse et configuration de solutions SAP Finance (modules FI CO) de ECC6.
• 3-5 ans d'expérience en analyse et configuration de solutions SAP Finance avec S4/HANA.
• 1 ou 2 participations dans des projets SAP S4/HANA dans un poste similaire sont un atout.
• Certification SAP pour le module concerné est un atout.
• Connaissance du mode de fonctionnement agile est un atout.
• Posséder une double compétence (TI + domaine d’affaires).
• Maîtriser la configuration des solutions correspondantes au domaine d’affaires.
• Avoir un sens aigu de l’analyse, un esprit critique et faire preuve de leadership.

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including but not limited to: assisting in the closing process on a monthly and annual basis, maintaining general ledger accounts, performing different analysis and reports using Excel.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS (but not limited to):

• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare journal entries (JE) for posting into the general ledger, including monthly accrual entries
• Reconcile various general ledger accounts, investigate and resolve variances
• Participate in the preparation of financial statements
• Participate in reconciliation of intercompany transactions on a monthly basis
• Responsible of maintaining the ERP system module for monthly commissions for sales representatives
• Assist in cash flow management and reporting
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Prepare various internal and external financial information/reports
• Participate the preparation of year end process and audits
• Manage travel expenses of employees and make sure they are in line with Global Policy
• Ensuring compliance with Canadian accounting standards and tax regulation
• Other accounting tasks and special projects

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• University degree in accounting or related field
• CPA designation an asset
• Bilingual; French and English both oral and written (essential)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Good knowledge of the full accounting cycle
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

COMPÉTENCES ET APTITUDES :
