The Financial Accountant is accountable for the full accounting cycle, which includes financial reporting, analysis, government reporting, payroll, and all aspects of the accounts receivable and accounts payable process for the group of TAO Companies.

Your next career move

  • Prepare and post accurate journal entries in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies for up to five separate entities in various currencies
  • Manage and execute month-end and quarter-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions and reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Provide support in weekly cash flow forecast and projections
  • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial statements and investor reporting packages. Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data and ensure reporting accuracy, conduct research, and resolve financial reporting issues
  • Assist with annual audits by preparing working papers and responding to auditors inquiries
  • Take ownership of compliance filings for sales tax or other government statutory filings
  • Assist with A/P processing and reconciliation and resolving vendor and employee inquires
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation of routine accounting tasks
  • Document business processes and accounting policies used to maintain strong internal controls

Does this sound like you?

  • Minimum 2 years of corporate accounting experience
  • CPA designation
  • Experience and some proficiency with an accounting software package(e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365)
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
  • Strong work ethic and positive teamwork skills
  • Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
  • Ability to communicate information in a straightforward manner with an attitude of exceptional customer service
