**YOUR DAY TO DAY**
Greet guest at hotel entrance and assist guests with front/lower door and unloading baggage.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Welcome all arriving guests; assist guests with front door and unloading luggage from vehicles. Alert management of any suspicious activities or characters.
+ Summon taxis, shuttle drivers, or valet parking attendants upon guest request.
+ Coordinate baggage handling with bell-persons and/or luggage attendants; may assist with luggage handling as necessary.
+ Assist departing guest with all luggage and transportation needs; invite departing guests back to the hotel and thank them for visiting.
+ Perform other duties as assigned such as ensuring the hotel entrance is free of litter and debris.
**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**
High School diploma or equivalent, and one year guest service or doorperson experience preferred. Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
This job requires ability to perform the following:
+ Carrying, pushing, or lifting items weighing up to 100 pounds
+ Handling objects such as luggage
+ Bending, stooping, kneeling
**OTHER**
+ Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with clients, guests and employees.
