Culligan Water is currently seeking a Route Driver to join our team. The Route Driver performs deliveries along a specific route and handles invoicing and collections. Additionally, drivers are expected to deliver a high degree of service that exceeds the expectations of customers.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Company products such as bottled water, salt, water coolers, etc. to customer's home or place of business
• Load and unload truck, placing products in the safest and most effective manner possible
• Use cart or carry 5-Gallon water bottles to customers' residence or place of business
• Collect payment from customers and record transactions on customer receipt
• Inform regular customers of new products or services to seek more business
• Collect empty containers and rejected merchandise

• Valid class 5 License

Summary The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the delivery of products over established routes. Responsibilities will include the correct loading of the vehicle, recording of delivery information, accepting/making payment for goods, and ensuring overall vehicle safety. The Delivery Driver will be expected to operate the delivery vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules of the road, and follow all appropriate company policies and procedures. The Driver have to be able to work sometime inside the warehouse Job Duties * Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various products * Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle * Deliver products over established routes * Accept or make payments for goods * Ensure correct loading of vehicle * Operate vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all rules of the road * Comply with all company policies and procedures regarding the delivery of goods * Record information on pick-ups and deliveries, vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems encountered * Communicate with central dispatch * Loading and unloading products in a safe manner, using provided tools as appropriate (e.g. dollies, lifts, etc.) * Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles. * Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate. * Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in written form * Assist in loading and unloading of vehicle * Perform periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure that load is properly fastened down and is secure * Ensure that material is properly protected from the outdoor elements * Deliver to product and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner * Provide feedback to supervision regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems * Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Delivery Driver ensures that the warehouse department is always performing in an effective and efficient manner, minding the Italian Centre Shop Ltd.’s policies and procedures for all actions and decisions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prioritize providing exceptional customer service to deliver a positive customer experience thereby cultivating a positive reputation for the company and fostering customer loyalty
• Adhering to shipping and receiving policies/procedures.
• Receiving merchandise and ensuring the shipment content matches invoices and orders.
• Picking, packing, sealing, and labelling products to prepare for shipping.
• Stocking shelves with received shipments, using the appropriate sorting and organization system and equipment.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements, including wearing steel toe boots and high-visibility clothing.
• Responsible for performing shipper and receiver duties when not engaged in driving tasks.

• Working collaboratively as a team and assisting other teams when required.
• Reviewing and verifying invoices and purchase requests to ensure accuracy.
• Establishing and maintaining outstanding relations with customers.
• Engaging with customers, answering questions, and promoting products and services; will enhance loyalty, sales, and profits.
• Loading and unloading of products from trucks in a safe manner.
• Processing transactions accurately and efficiently by reviewing the packing/delivery slips and invoices.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited school system or program is preferred.
  
  

Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience in a warehouse role is preferred.
• A minimum of three years' experience in a professional driver role.
• A valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driving abstract.
  
  

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent listening skills and communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work under pressure while always maintaining a professional image.
• Working independently with little direct supervision.
• Having a well-balanced concern for both tasks and people.
