**Monitor/Aide Responsibilities:**
- Knows the route and remains alert to monitor the welfare of passengers while in route
- Communicates behavior problems and conditions of various stops with the driver
- Assists in pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus
- Assists students in the loading and unloading process
- Cooperates and communicates with school personnel, students, and parents
- Attends all safety and training meetings
- Conducts emergency evacuation from the bus, including use of exiting by emergency door
- Opens and closes service doors and moves up and down steps multiple times daily
- Cleans the inside of the bus
- Assists driver when necessary to safely direct the vehicle backwards

Salary: $38.58-$46.48/Hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a subject expert with a focus on the administrative and/or advanced clinical modules, the incumbent facilitates the design, implementation, optimization and adoption of clinical informatics initiatives by working collaboratively with stakeholders, technical experts and/or vendors as required. Using critical and creative thinking the Clinical Informatics Analyst analyzes, prioritizes and translates user needs and requests related to the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
All duties are carried out in a manner consistent with BGH’s vision, mission and values, to meet the strategic and operational goals of the organization.
Education & Experience
- Post-secondary education in clinical, health science, information technology and or health informatics. OR
- Registered member of a regulated health professional college with health informatics experience.
- Three (3) years of progressive clinical and/or health informatics experience, preferably including implementing a major clinical application or large project, redesigning clinical processes and/or business processes to improve patient care and stakeholder workflow and applying change management and project management methodologies in a project setting or while redesigning an existing clinical or business process.
- Cerner experience considered an asset
Skills and Abilities:
- Support the implementation of the Electronic Health Record by defining customer requirements, workflow and process analysis, project communications, unit and integrated design testing, implementation and go-live support.
- Provide leadership and subject-matter expertise to working groups responsible for clinical and/or business process workflow re-design and configures the outcomes within the Electronic Health Record solution in order to support and enhance patient care and processes. Champions the use of evidence-based best practices and outcome measurement in the Electronic Health Record.
- Develops training plans, training materials in a variety of mediums and other electronic health record-related supporting documentation; understands and applies the principles of adult education while providing training to stakeholders.
- Acts as a key change agent and Electronic Health Record champion in order to facilitate implementation and adoption of new processes and/or clinical standards as well as continuous improvement and optimization; collaboratively works with organizational stakeholders and services to operationalize and sustain the effective integration of the electronic health record into clinical practice and administrative/business processes; acts as an advocate for the use of technology and health information to improve clinical processes and the seamless integration of technology into the day-to-day work of front line clinicians.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the health informatics industry, trends and health care standards; develops awareness, commitment and acceptance of emerging and innovative technologies and systems that support excellence in the delivery of care. Focuses on

Position Summary:
The Team Leader supports the Medical-Surgical program (specifically the transitional care unit on 1E) by acting as a resource for frontline staff and works in partnership with the inpatient medicine physicians. This position demands an exceptional level of nursing practice expertise as well as the personal ability to effectively coach and nurture the staff being supported to provide quality care. Reporting to the Medical-Surgical Manager, the Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the overall coordination and facilitation of effective, efficient, and safe clinical activities, promoting interprofessional collaboration, supporting continuous quality improvement, and liaising with other patient care areas as required. The Team Leader is ideally positioned to provide problem-solving, consultations, and clinical support to nursing colleagues, interprofessional team members and students.
The Team Leader has the overall picture of the Medical-Surgical program and creates the staff assignment to match patient needs with staff skill set; this includes Team Leaders taking patient care assignments to maintain competence and skills. The Team Leader works to balance as many variables as possible, ensuring that the daily operations and organization of the department support the delivery of quality care within existing resources. The Team Leader supports patient flow across the entire organization and works in partnership with the other departments to facilitate flow.
Requirements:
Education/Specific Training Requirements:
- Clinical expert who demonstrates in-depth knowledge, skill, and judgement in the department
- Demonstrated commitment to patient and family focused care
- Minimum 8 years of experience
- Current BCLS certification required
- Demonstrated ongoing commitment to continuous learning and education (CNO Standards of Practice Reviews)
- Demonstrated critical thinking, communication, problem solving, decision making, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflict
- Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance record
