About the Role

Securiguard is looking for a Client Services Manager - Healthcare Security who will manage a sector of our Healthcare Security vertical and healthcare security contracts in Alberta. This role is pivotal in driving growth, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our footprint in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and proven expertise in security solutions.

The day to day:
  • Understand your clients and lead from the front by being actively involved in all aspects of client relationship management to become their trusted security and safety solutions resource.
  • Manage a book of business for strategic Healthcare accounts, delivering first class service delivery and contract compliance. Ability to spend significant time on site is expected
  • Recommend/implement security solutions, coverage and risk-reducing strategies
  • Ensure all contract and legislative requirements are being met.
  • New Business start-ups and transition plan implementation
  • Incident Response and Incident Command
  • Full accountability and management for KPI Implementation and Reporting
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build a robust pipeline, and establish relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry.
  • Lead client negotiations, and close deals to achieve revenue targets and market share growth including the negotiation of increases and renewals with our existing client base.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory changes impacting healthcare security.
Knowledge:
  • Legislation - Relevant government and security legislation in Alberta
  • Security Operations - schedule management, Standing Orders preparation, security systems (CCTV/Access Control), Incident Reporting set-up and installation
  • Financial - margin maintenance/improvement, Client/Site financial analysis, Spend Control
Here's what you need:
  • Successful applicants must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years' security experience in a managerial capacity in the Healthcare Security environment
  • Have, or be in the process of attaining the CHPA designation with IAHSS and hold active membership with IAHSS.
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, regulatory requirements, and security challenges
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading teams, passion and high energy for people
  • Experience in an operational setting involving the management and supervision of many staff members
  • Strong communicators with assertive interpersonal skills and team players are critical to success
  • Security/Service professional with proven management experience within the security industry, the public sector or armed services is an asset
  • Strong management and leadership skills together with excellent communication, influencing, negotiating and engagement skills
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with a 'hands on', problem solving approach, able to remain calm under pressure and take control of incidents
  • Experience of writing policy, standing order procedures, drafting reports, preparing business cases and compiling and adjusting duty rosters to meet shortfalls in staffing levels
  • MS Office proficiency; Self-motivated; demonstrated ability to produce results while working independently; proven strong analytical and organizational skills; proven customer service skills required; sales and management training an asset; valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License; access to or possession of vehicle for attending to all client sites
  • Understands financial and cost drivers in the security industry

Job Description

Sodexo is growing! We are looking for a Environmental Service Attendant 1,  to join our dynamic team. This position is on a CASUAL basis with shifts as follows:

  • Monday – Sunday 7am -2:45 pm, 
  • Monday – Sunday 3pm – 10:45pm
  • Monday – Sunday 11pm – 6:45am

You must be available for all shifts/all days

Starting ROP $17.01/ hour

Qualifications

You are a dynamic and reliable person; you have good communication and interpersonal skills. Your schedule is flexible, and you have good analytical and decision-making skills. You are committed to quality assurance and safety.

During your mandate, you will be asked to clean offices, patient/resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, lobbies, food service areas, and any other areas that may require special attention such as critical care areas. You will be required to sweep, mop, buff floors and vacuum hallways, stairways and offices. You will also be asked to clean ceilings, air vents, walls, furniture, windows and window coverings. You will be responsible for emptying garbage cans and containers, restocking supplies, linen and changing sheets as well as wiping and disinfecting all vertical and horizontal surfaces including High Touch point areas. You may also be asked to clean carpets or polish floors using the appropriate mechanical equipment. You will be requested to move furniture and set up tables and chairs.

You will need to properly and safely use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer and Sodexo standards. Specialized cleaning equipment and techniques may be required.

It will be your responsibility to perform routine pre-use inspections of equipment. You will be requested to communicate to your supervisor the need for repairs.

You will be attending training programs (classroom and virtual), requested to comply with company safety and risk management policies and procedures, perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

High school diploma, DEC or equivalent experience is required. 1 year of experience is preferred. Previous cleaning experience an asset but not a requirement.

ROLE:  HEALTHCARE BUSINESS ANALYST

The successful candidates possess demonstrated experience in the following areas:

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Demonstrated experience as a Technical or Enterprise Business Analyst on at least 3 enterprise technology projects in the healthcare vertical
  2. Demonstrated experience with cloud based DevSecOps processes.
  3. Demonstrated experience working on technology projects with diverse project teams, communicating technical concepts to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences at various levels within an organization.
  4. Demonstrated experience participating in and facilitating business process model discovery, planning workshops and requirements gathering sessions to elicit business and technical requirements with an emphasis of understanding the business priorities.
  5. Demonstrated experience preparing business cases, project charters, technical assessments, policies, processes, and procedures.
  6. Demonstrated experience preparing project documents including, but not limited to, testing plans, use cases and user stories based on business processes, risk registers, user manuals and system manuals.
  7. Demonstrated experience developing governance frameworks and processes.
  8. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification is considered an asset.
  9. Experience working in a healthcare and/or research environment an asset.
  10. Experience working with Microsoft Project Online is considered an asset.
  11. Certification as a Project Manager is considered an asset.
  12. Experience working with Agile methodologies is considered an asset.
  13. Ability to work effectively with all levels of the client organization
  14. A successful track record

Degree designations (e.g., Bachelor of Science, Computing Science, MBA) and/or vendor technical certifications are desirable criteria for our selection.
