What Youll be Doing!
As a Control Systems Developer, you will contribute to complex engineering projects and products through designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications using object oriented programming, industrial programming, communication protocols and more!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design, create and maintain product-centric functional PLC and HMI programs.
- Support and maintain development through all stages of the CI/CD lifecycle
- Identifying and implementing operational improvements
- Create and apply innovative algorithms for mechanical and electrical system controls
- Implementing changes to existing and creating new engineering designs with respect to control systems hardware and software
- Conduct code reviews, regression testing, end-to-end testing, debugging, and more
- Contribute to projects and post-deployment activities by providing technical documentation, adhering to coding standards, and troubleshooting issues.
- Execute on-site control system and software commissioning at global rail locations
Who are you?:
- 5+ years of experience in controls and/or software development
- A related degree or diploma inElectrical, Mechatronics, Control or Electronic
- Experienced in all phases of the development life cycle
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Proficient in PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell, etc.)
- Profound understanding of control algorithms and design practices
- Knowledgeable in industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Modbus, CAN etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate to an array of technical and non-technical audiences
- Passion for learning and keeping up to date with new technologies
- Ability to travel and work in industrial environments

Strong Python developer with experience using LLMs in applied settings
• Familiarity with one or more frameworks: OpenAI API, LangChain, Flowise, AutoGen, etc.
Able to work across structured data, procedures, and reasoning logic
- understanding of desalination, wastewater and industrial processes
• Bonus: background in industrial systems, process automation, or engineering workflows
What You’ll Work On
Develop LLM-powered workflows that interact with internal data and tooling
• Build modular components using frameworks like LangChain, Flowise, or similar

Our software products involve industrial plant automation (eg. opening and closing material gates, controlling conveyor belts, monitoring material flow, reading weigh scales and pulse meters, all in real time) and product dispatch (eg. dispatching orders to production plants, monitoring fleets of delivery trucks via GPS, load-balancing and optimizing workload across multiple production locations).
Job DescriptionThis position will focus mainly on C# development using ASP.NET, though there are React, WPF, and C++ development opportunities as well.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing new software features
- Participating in team discussions and analyzing customer feedback
- Testing and maintaining existing functionality
Candidates must have:
- Eagerness to learn new languages, frameworks and communication protocols
