Join our dynamic Inventory Control team where you will play a critical role in managing and moving products within our facility. You will be part of a close-knit team of about five people, responsible for conducting cycle counts, handling paperwork, and supporting shipping and receiving operations.

+ Standard Receiving Practices
+ Work along with Inventory Control team to assist in maintaining productivity, delivery reliability, safety stock levels, receiving schedules, inbound freight maximization, promotion and inventory turns goals
+ Identify and address all defects received with respect to acceptable standards
+ Administer all shipments received into the facility
+ Maintaining standard receiving practices
+ Ensure all documentation is complete and signed appropriately protecting Martin-Brower from all potential liabilities
+ Inventory Management
+ Create purchase orders for centre-ordered products
+ Assist in communicating and slotting of all new items
+ Maintain on-hold log, responsible for product tagging and communication
+ Work in partnership with Warehouse, Inventory Control, Corporate Office to meet targets
+ Assist with invoicing and coordination of all Branch Transfer shipments
+ Assist with the preparation and organization of Physical Inventory
+ Process Audit
+ Assist with cycle count on all items as per Cycle Count Procedure - identify issues, research and repair
+ Physically review all on-hold product to verify accuracy, identify and address issues to the Warehouse Manager and to Corporate Office

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
+ Requires a post-secondary education in Supply Chain/Logistics or a related field, or equivalent experience

+ Strong interpersonal, customer service, presentation, and organizational skills to oversee staff

We are seeking a hands-on Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our warehouse facility. This role is responsible for supervising all warehouse operations including inventory management, receiving, material handling, product packaging, and shipping. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and packaging processes, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

The Role
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for the efficient management of the maintenance stockroom and the integrity of inventory data within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Summary
The Inventory Control Assistant will be responsible to ensure that appropriate inventory levels are achieved on the Production Floor at all times.They also assist production employees with ERP transactions and submit questions and problems to their manager.Primary responsibilities include utilizing knowledge of inventory cycles to manage and control Production inventory levels, and ensuring information in the Global Shop ERP system is accurate and up to date at all times.
Job Duties
- Electronically prepare/process all transfers of material between departments within Production
- Ensure adequate stock levels for Production requirements.
- Electronically update and maintain the Global Shop ERP system.
- Assist with shop floor production transactions, give feedback to the inventory control manager about current processes and suggest possible improvements
- Monitor and track inventory delivered direct to departments, barcode, and assign locations to property.
- Coordinate and submit timely and accurate inventory control data and analysis as required.
- Conduct periodic spot checks (cycle counts) of warehouse materials and participate in a formal inventory at least once annually.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous Inventory Management experience in a multi-product Manufacturing environment a definite asset.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels within the Company
- Familiarity with and ERP/MRP System such as Global Shop an asset.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
- Strong computer skills in Windows and Microsoft Office software suites.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Valid drivers license.
Work Conditions
- Physical ability to lift up to 30lbs.
- Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
- Extremely busy environment must be able to work with little supervision
